Im really sorry i have just worked out how to use these threads, i have been going off and starting new threads! My 'Notcie of Judgement Entered' was issued on the 24th August following Halifax no reply to my claim. I still havent heard anything and i keep checking my account but no money has been deposited. Having read the threads above im going to issue the warrant on friday 1st Sept and see what happens next. Does anyone know what happens when you issue a warrant? i.e. how long do they have to pay?

Dear all, A judgement for default was served on halifax 24/08, i have recived the letter of confirmation from Northampton. I assume that halifax have now received the judgement. Does anyone have a telephone number at halifax that i can ring to speed up the payment process. Or is it better to issue the warrant? Or wait? Thanks Andy

Dear all, Can anyone help? I have asked for judgement to be made based on default as Halifax havent replied to my court claim. This was issued 24/08.The MCOL shows a section for starting a warrant. Hello, I submitted my court claim online 4/08, Halifax have not acknowledged my claim so i have tried to start my claim today (21/08) based on 'default' however the claim online site will not allow me to do this. Is it 14 working days from the date of issue before you can start a default claim? 14 days from the 4/08 is the 18/08! Can anyone provide some advise Thanks Andy

Hi bagsnballs, My claim was issued to the courts on the 4/08 so today is the last day Halifax have to repsond. I have had only one letter 'Notice of Issue', nothing from Halifax! Can you let me know whats happens with your claim, it appears that im a couple of steps behind you! Good Luck Andy

Hello, Can anyone advise me, i keep logging onto the moneyclaim.gov website to view the status of my claim and it reads "Status - issued 4/8/06 - Your claim has been accepted the defendant has 14 days from the date they are served with the claim to reply" 1.Does this mean that Halifax have received my claim? 2.What's shown on the claim website when they are going to pay up? 3.Is there anyway of speeding things up? 4.What's the average timescale for settlement?
