I have decided to start with Halifax visa now, I am almost there I beleive with the the bank card (and will donate as soon as in bank). I have so far done everything correct and stuck to all time sclaes so now going to file a money calim online. Do you know if I can ask for a cheue or to be credited to my halifax account or does it just get credited to your visa account. I am using the Crdif addr ess as well is that okay? Thanks all

About 5 years ago i had a car with ford credit and I was unbal to keep up with payment although did pay it but sometimes a little late. Please I know I had charge will I be able to claim these back. Can you only go bak 6 years from todays date or more if the agreeent ended say 5 years agao and started 9 years agao if you what I mean Thanks in advance

Hi there I filed my claim with the halifax on the moneyclaim website on the 9th and it was acknowldged on the 16th and yesterday got a letter saying they defend the clkaim from the courts like you. I also as of today not had any money paid into my account. I am watching your thread with great interest. Nicola Perhaps they will deposit the remainder today or perhaps Monday as a working day.

if you do not mind me asking, have some of the halifax cases once the money claim thing been submitted paid out after about 5 days??? I am sure I ahve read a few of these soem wehre.

Do you wish to enter Judgment by Default or by Admission? Please select one of the options below: The defendant has not filed an admission or defence to my claim (Judgment by Default) You will need to decide, how and when you want the defendant to pay. You can ask for the Judgment to be paid by instalment or in one payment. The defendant admits that all the money is owed (Judgment by Admission) If the defendant has given a new address on the form of admission to which correspondence should be sent, update the defendant's details within the following Judgment request. Hi I ajve been very quiet on gheer and justw atching and 'doing what I should, I have so far files a moneyclaim with the halifax and have logged on today to say it has been issued.. what is the next step I have to do as not sent anything to the courts etc as yet. It was awaiting issuing yestrday but like I say it has been issed now as checked on the money claim website. I have read and read but the terminology is very hard for me as have slight learning difficulties. Thanks everybody Nigel

Thanks all for the welome. I apprecite this very much. I am going to write to the brclays bank and tell them I will accept part paymnet but will be claiming the balance. I have been doing exactly what you ahve all been doing on here. I am claiming £2965 and so far they have offered me £1000 as a gesture of goodwill. I intend to make a claim online now as have reda and read and more read all the bits and bobs on here. If I win I will be dontaing money for sure back to this site as well as without this ite I would be no whre and I think other people must think this as well. I will keep you all informed as what happens next. I know my partner is with the halifax and they are paying out within 2 weeks of submittinga money claim I beleive what are barclays doing as from reading posts etc.. it seems they are taking much much longer.

HELLO FIRSTLY i HAVE BEEN LOOKING ON THE SITE AS MY PARTNER IS A MEMBER... I thought I would also try and claim my charges back. I have done everything correct and yesterday I got a ltter from Barclays saying they will refund me £1000 but I am claiming £2965, that is without interste. I am at the satge now to write to them and say that I will accept this payment as part paymnet.. can I do that (help appreciate re this please). I am going to file a money claim, is it strightforward and been thinking of doing this but a little scared to be honest but you lot on here are brillint and when I do get my money back I will def send some back on to the site to help others.
