  1. THey paid in £750.00 and a letter sent to me, also another letter saying they will pay in £166.00 as another one off payment, but i am still waiting for this payment. Has any one else has had two letters, The total amount I claimed is about £1,000 (as I worked the initial charges incorrectly.) Sorry im not very good at explaining things! Thanks you
  2. I sent the final letter off to LLoyds end of May (not got a court date) and they have just paid a standard amount into my current account, I also was on a payment plan with my credit card and loan. They have not taken the money out of my account to clear any funds but I would not keep it in there, as when the statement date comes around they could take it all.
  3. Ive been away from the site for a while and during this time LLoyds have paid in an amount into my account, which I think is a standard figure but however I received two letters posted on the same day one saying the standard and another for £166.00 both letters stated that it was a final offer and on of pament has any one else had this. I am still waiting for the last payment?
  4. Hi I have sent my third letter, asking for my charges to be returned, or court action if not within 14 days. But when I filled in the charges spreadsheet I put in the 8% interest charge, I also added in overdraft interest. Is this wrong and should I amend my claim and take these charges out. Will it get thrown out at a later date? Sorry so many questions. Can anyone help... :-?
  5. HI Ive been in the same situation as you. I rented my house out before it was taken off me and contacted CAB, the advised me to have my debt managed, they have two companies who are charity registered and do not charge for there help. They helped me fill in all the forms ie expenses etc, I have just had my first month of having spare money for food etc with out borrowing. and the phone calls have almost stoped. I have never been told to sell me house. I have been advised that my credit rating will be pants after but it is anyway. The peace of mind and help to get things back on trach is priceless. Keep strong. email me if you want to chat x p.s. I opening a Yorkshire bank account. Told them exactly the situation and I only wanted a basic cash account. There card also has maestro so you can still pay for goods in shops. No cheque book or overdraft. and it works fine.
  6. As far as I've read on this site, there is a letter in replay, to decline the offer and proceed with court action, at this point they will send full amount.
  7. May be they just crossed in the post. Wait the 14 days then do the court thing. Well that what i'm going to do. I have only just posted my third letter today.. Very scarry.:o
  8. Have a look around the site, I downloaded a copy of the standard letters to send, The next one is the threat of court.... Go for it what have you got to loose.
  9. Open another bank account and get your money paid into the new one. I have also had to make drastic changes to my finances. The bank were taking hundreds of pounds a month. I spoke to Citizen Advice.
  10. Hi, I received this letter last week, and to day I have sent a third letter giving them two weeks to pay up or I will automatically get a court date, You have to proced. If you read some of the cases it takes at least to this step of court before they pay up. They want you to give up at this stage. This is only a standard letter. I am worried but its my money.
