  1. Hi all! I sent off LBA and they responded with there standard "thanks for complaint can take up to blah blah blah to respond". They didnt offer me any setllement at that time so i filled in in MCOL on the 20th Oct (which i told them i would do). They have sent a partial settlement letter nearly 2 weeks after the deadline date (20th oct) that i told them i would file my claim. Do i still need to send them "rejection of settlement offer" letter? I was reading on the notes before the letter and it says If their offer letter arrives very close to the expiry of your LBA expiry (perhaps within a couple of days), you can proceed with your claim without sending another letter - they have effectively denied your claim and you would only be extending the timescales....... Im sure it may seem obvious but just wanted to confirm that i dont need to send them rejection of settlement offer letter, or do i still? Thanks in advance!
  2. I wouldnt wirte them again, you have already told them that you would take court action in your last letter. I did my MCOL on the 20th, quite looking forward to see what they have to say, if anything at all lol
  3. Hi, i recived the same latter from mike today...(he must be signing a whole lot of those ) i sent off my letter before action letter last week and thats the response i received. Basically...thats there problem if they are going to take 8 weeks. Im keeping to my timescale (14 days from date of LBA letter), which means in my case they have untill 20th oct to settle. If not (which i doubt they will) i will be filling out my money claim online form. You seem to be on the right track. they have 14 days to respond to initial request to pay up....if they fail send them letter before action (14 days to respond) if they still fail....start your court claim hope that helps Harriet:)
  4. Thanks! (that is what i was hoping to hear) lol
  5. Hi everyone! Just wanted some advice.... I sent off my Letter Before Action, and have recived a fob off...thank you for your complaint can take up to 8 weeks blah blah. They have not offered me any money. But since i started this claim i have been charged again for going overdrawn :-| . On the 20th i will fill in the bits for moneyclaim online...but my question is: Can i add this amount (additional £30) onto my final claim amount? Not sure....because this amount wasnt included in my orginal amount i claimed for. I have all the statements etc for this new charge, so i wouldnt need to request another copy from them, can it be done?...or do i need to go through the process all over again for this additional charge? Any advice would be apprciated. Thanks
