  1. Just keep going!!!

CAhoot seem to be one of the most stubborn banks out there... and to tell you the truth I would be quite interested to see how their charges can equate the same as a bank with say BRANCHES or say, TELLERS???????

  2. MOST institutes and universities only allow you to pay uk fees if you have lived in the UK for 3 years or more... however the rules vary slightly.

Double check the visa rules as welll...

  3. Its your decision, if you really need the interest then go for it but I guarantee it will not be a short road!!! Sorry I can not be encouraging but it seems that most of these interest cases end up at least at MCOL stage.

At the end of the day its YOUR money. You need to go with your gut feeling.

I would send a letter accepting as part settlement, or revise the LBA slightly to include that you will accept as part settlement.

  4. well, to tell you the truth... they are making amicable means to settle this claim.. I dont know how favourably a judge would look upon this case considering that basically the only reason it went to court was because you were demanding cheque payment.

All of this correspondence will be put forth before a judge remember. They will show that they have tried to settle with you on at least 3 occasions for the claim amount?????? However that is only my opinion.

  5. naw, shes basically asking you to put in a lower offer than what you are claiming for and she will see what she can do.

my other half settled with cahoot for only 75% of his claim, however the whole process only took about 3weeks!! they seem to act fast if you lower your claim. ie; cost them less in the long run.
