clydesdale financial services
blackste replied to blackste's topic in Yorkshire Bank and Clydesdale Bank and Northern Bank
if they are going to at all, they usually take their time over it. then they may try the microfiche fob off. ive already claimed off abbey, so have a little bit of experience. dont back down though. -

hi all well the 40 days are up today. the problem ive got is that abbey have sent the microfiche details for one of my accounts, but not the other, the one with all of the charges on. also i have no idea when i opened this account, so am not sure how to do the multiplier, to claim what i think should be an average of my charges. should i just multiply this years charges by the 6 years maximum? also where do i go for the N1 form. thanks all

hi guys sorry ive not posted for ages but ive been working abroad. this leaves me with a bit of a problem. ive not been able to send my letter for the summary of what im claiming for, and the letter im supposed to send before my 40 cut off was due about a week ago. the 40 days from sending my data protection letter is up on sat 20th august. is it still worth sending the final reminder, ive still not recieved the microfiche for my other account. thanks all. steve

hi guys ive just come back from my hols to find 2 letters from abbey. basically i sent off my letter and cheque for £10 to get info on both of my current accounts. they have treated them as separate issues, sending one letter on one day and one the next, but slightly different letters.the first i think is the standard microfiche letter, the second saying i will only recieve the transactions held on their system. should they treat the 2 accounts as 1 issue, and do i need to send the microfiche reply letter regarding this. are the 40 days still in effect from the previous letter. your help and knowledge is really appreciated ladies and gents. steve

vodafone / identity theft worries
blackste replied to edzillion's topic in Telecoms - mobile or fixed
hi mate. spoke to my missus and she said to berate you for giving out any details to someone calling you. vodafone will never ask you for details if they call you. she said other than doing the above, their is not a lot you can do, but she did mention that other moby companies do call like this and try to fool you into giving them enough info to transfer you to their network without realising. wont mention any names but one of them began with O and finished with 2. sorry i cant be more help, but good luck steve -

blackste replied to edzillion's topic in Telecoms - mobile or fixed
hi ed. contact vodafone again. they should have a fraud or theft department that you can make aware of the situation. that should cover you if the guy trys to credit things to your account. my other half works for them so if she can give ma any more advice for your i will post it. she is in work at the mo. will post later if ican offer any more info. cheers. -
