I sent a package of some boots (after selling them on a well known trading site that begins with E) from a main depot in Exeter on 11.12. The post office claimed via their automated email system that they tried to deliver packge on the 12/12 (which they didnt do as the local postman to the buyer said they had nothing on record - and to be fair next day delivery on second class is not a thing!). I changed delivery to a post office local to the buyer. The post office confirmed that the redirection was complete and confirmed it would be delivered on Saturday 16.12 to the said post office. The buyer even went to the agreed post office office on the 16.12 but they could not find anything. The trail then went cold and I had to refund the money to the buyer (which was the right thing to do I hasten to add). Now I have no money and the boots are in the ether. I will start a claim after waiting two weeks. Welcome anybodies thoughts.
