Hi all First time using this forum. I have seen several other threads with similar issue. Portugal trip in July 2022, hire car used on the toll road. Hire car company informed me any tolls incurred maybe be billed direct to me in the UK. Forward on to November 2023, letter received in the post dated 24/09/2023 stating I had not paid tolls as per previous notice ( initial notice never received) and therefore I was due to pay Tolls £9.43 Admin. Fees ( Portuguese Law no.25/2006). £16.12 Administrative cost £57.36 I set up a complaint online stating I never received the original notice and I paid the Tolls and Admin fees totalling £25.55. I did not pay the administrative cost of £57.36 as the previously mentioned original notice was never received. Email received 5/22/2023 stating I still owe the £57.36. looking at other threads/ posts it appears people are simply ignoring EPC PLC correspondence, can I do the same even after paying the tolls to same organisation ( I was always happy and willing to pay the tolls).
