But I've already appealed. . They take upto 35 day's

I parked in a city centre multistorey car park. Unfortunately I didn't park too forward and my back wheel was on the line. So instead of £40 discounted rate they jumped straight to £60. But I am not sure if I should pay this private company. As I have heard alot of negative. But worried at the same time because what if I get ccj. Can anyone help me with this? Should I pay it or not? Has anyone been in this situation?
