Had a letter from Halifax about ppi says to deal with your case more quickly we have decided to make you an ex gratia offer to bring this matter to a speedy conclusion .We will ensure that you are put back to the same position you would have been in, had the single premium ppi not been included in your loan. the method we work to use refund as follows we calculate a refund of the payments made towards ppi to date and we calculate simple intrest at 8% per annum of the payments made towards the ppi on your account from inception the 8% simple intrest amount will then be calculated when i recieve your signed acceptance this will only be processed at this point to ensure the amount is accurate. The calculated simple interest at 8% will then be refunded in the manner you request on the acceptance form. Should i acccept this need some advice thanks.....

this happened to a girl i new she filled out appeal form for £3000 that was nearly a year ago they said they have received it but dont know wat departments got it and will be in touch so its the old story gives us it back but when you can prove you told them and they were incompetent and they should refund you its a different story best of luck m8
