  1. Can someone advice as to whether it is worth taking further? On Saturday I paid cash £250! at the hairdresser for a hair volumiser product which was to be ordered on Monday. The lady said any problems to ring before then. 10 minutes later I changed my mind as I realised it would not be suitable due to my hair loss. The hairdresser refused to refund my initially saying it had already been ordered. When I asked for recipt they said it was done by email and can't show it to me. I asked for a copy of the customer agreement which had no reference to loss of refund. The hairdresser refused to give me a copy saying I should have asked for it before leaving the shop premises. I was worried they would alter information on it regarding deposit as another member of staff put a hand written note on door with 'no refunds' on it. I was told to come back Tuesday to speak to manager who was not there at time. I rung up on the Tuesday where the same receptionist spoke to me ...not the manager....and said as I had left the shop I was not entitled to any refund. The shop had not placed the order and had made no loss whatsoever. Do I have a case for the small courts?
  2. Hii I was wondering whether you took this matter and was it resolved? I have been in a similar situation recently and was wondering whether it was worth taking to court. My deposit was #250 and the hairdresser didnt order the item either and i changed my mind 10 minutes after handing the cash over. I was not able to see the item first or ==nor was a colour match taken for my hair.
