Hi a TAYLOR I had pretty much the same response verbally when I first started this but after many phone calls to my cc company Tesco and talking to a different person every time I finally got one who knew what they were talking about and got the charge back forms sent and they paid out , in your case I would print off all the relevant posts and other info and take them in person your branch of the bank and point out that all the other banks are honouring their legal obligation ,if they then fail to do so tell them you will raise it with the financial ombudsman which is also your right to do pointing out that it will not look good for them as it is shown via this forum other companies are giving charge back under the exact same conditions that you are in and this is an internet forum and do they really want all the negative publicity that they are now getting for not playing the game .Hope this helps let us know how you get on
  2. Well Ive had good news got my money back today so it looks like most of the cc companies are now playing the game and paying us back ,I wonder what is happening to the [problematic]?????

Hi a Taylor you will me ok mate if you look at strongs emails the address is [email protected] so that proves it from that bunch of shysters and as you have said you are entitled to charge back as they have broken the contract by 1 not delivering 2 not being contactable 3 not replying to correspondence .Make sure you inform your bank what is going on at this thread as it will strengthen your case .Best of luck keep us up to date how you get on.

This is really strange how different cc companies deal with this mine T---O(big supermarket) has messed me about and are now sending forms to fill in, that might take up to SEVEN DAYS !!!!! to get to me then another 14 days before I get a update .You would think that as section 75 is LAW we would all get the same response???

Hi folks latest update I was told by my cc provider that I had to wait 30 days before the could do anything ,I have since found out this is complete rubbish as under section 75a of the consumer act if you cannot (1) contact the supplier or (2) you have tried to contact them and they do not reply or (3) they cannot be traced .You can claim under this act BUT what you have to do when you talk to your cc provider is say the magic words "I AM MAKING A CLAIM UNDER SECTION 75 OF THE CONSUMER CREDIT ACT" they then deal with it in the right way, it seems that some try to fob you off like me till you do that .I could have probably got my money back by now if I had known this .For more info on the act read MARTIN LEWIS the money saving experts web page . Has anyone got a refund yet?????

  8. I see that AR SUPPLIES now have a new web site that says its under construction but the contact details are still the same as the old ones and surprise surprise still don't work. Did everyone who payed get their money taken by AR SUPPLIES or is there anyone who had it taken by LITEGADGETS ? I have to wait now till the 20th for the deadline for them to deliver to pass before my cc company will take further action Ive also raised a case with the fraud action line and have now got a crime number I suggest you all do the same apparently it really helps your case when it comes to arguing it.

Well honeybee all I can say is you ain't getting a ps4 from these guys hopefully you used a credit card get on to your provider first thing tomorrow and tell them what has gone on and to put a block on them stopping them taking any more, if you payed by debit contact your bank with the same info you've still got rights only not as many. I have contacted the fraud line today and filled in the online form you should ALL do the same if you have had any dealings with this bunch the more that complain the better chance of something being done!!!!!!!!!!

Just found the below info on a company called ELITEGADGETS (spot the name in there without the E) this is from 2011 it looks very much like our problem doesn't it Ok, here's a summary of all that's been written right now, for those that don't have the time to read 7 pages of thread posts. In total, I counted 36 complaints from different customers of EG/Osoo who had problems with their orders. Please note that I haven't counted the positive comments, so I'm not being impartial. Curiously enough, you only get positive comments until about page 4 (mid-to-late 2010). After that they abruptly stop and there is negative comment after negative comment. This may seem insignificant in itself, however, there have been accusations that at least part of those positive comments were "plants", that is to say, written by the seller or the seller's associates- so, when they stop abruptly, it is quite telling. To summarize, customers have reported that: 1) Products that are supposed to be in stock turn out to be out of stock. 2) Seller takes money from account straight away but dispatches items weeks later (if they don't run out of stock in the meantime). By the way, this is clearly written in the website, so that you know they will do this to you. 3) Seller conducts "grey imports", which means that seller sells items meant for the Far East or other markets into the EU market. This is despite having a huge banner on website proclaiming that he only uses UK stock. Since some items are considerably cheaper than their nearest rivals, if they are imports, it begs the question of whether customs/handling fees have been paid. 4) Has set up different names for what is essentially one company, and has already changed the company's name three times (http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/eed84b1b14196b9d3f3485257972a0a8/compdetails), in six years. 5) Next-day delivery is reported to be anything but- in spite of the huge banner blatantly advertising it on the website. 6) Delivery, next-day or not, can actually take weeks- so much so that clients have cancelled and asked for refunds. 7) Refunds can also take weeks to be processed- customers are forced to finally involve their credit card companies 8) Poor communication either via email or telephone- seller rarely available to speak on the phone. All this adds up to tremendous stress for customers who have been treated thusly. The majority on the pie is by far the 1-star ratings, on both company's accounts. Trustpilot recommends that you only leave a one-star rating if you feel that there's been fraud involved. What is equally striking is that you've got at least one customer on the above links mentioning that they ordered a new product but received a used one! Thanks x 2
  11. Talked to my CC company today and blocked them taking out money they can still put it back but I'm not holding my breath on that one. This is my first time caught out too and I do a lot of internet shopping I had done checks as well on AR Trading and they looked legit, last time I buy something that hasn't got a PAY PAL option, and the other thing folks is NEVER forget THEY are also reading this thread judging what to say to us to keep the [problem] going as long as possible hopefully we have cut them off at the knees by being on this forum and the word getting out to the world.
  12. We need a local in Accrington to go round and have a look at whats going on in the warehouse!!!! I've cancelled my card so they wont get any more from me I suggest everyone else does the same.

  14. I can assure you the negative comments are true and two of us are still waiting for our money ,what they are telling you ie 7days is what they told us and it will not happen I hope you paid with a CREDIT CARD!!!!!!!

  17. Ive received the same mail this morning even though TODAY was supposed to be the delivery day its become obvious they haven't got the stock ,I also see the link from Amazon as a sponsored link has disappeared . Lets see how long before we get our money back!!!!!
  18. Hi VINYLBEATS Im starting to think that as well they seem to be going to a lot of trouble if its not legit and my card payment went through as AR supplies who as we have found out have been in business for a few years so lets hope for that knock on the door from the courier!!!!!

Ive been in contact via email today requesting info and was told "As we are very busy Tracking details are very hard to obtain all we can say is bare with us and if after delivery date it is not received please do contact us so we can assist your further" I then asked what courier and was told Parcel force ,I thought th I had typed a new post but it disappeared so here goes again !!!!!   21. The phone number now rings BUT no surprise NO answer .I received mail yesterday stating "my order was being processed" checked my card provider and the money was taken on Thursday still no conformation of despatch!!!!!
  22. Nothing sent yet I guess Im gonna have to wait now till Mon then try again to contact them to see if its been shipped Im also thinking of I should try to phone their local trading standards office to see if they have had any complaints about them, anyone got any suggestions?
  23. Im starting to get a bit worried now ,Ive contacted their online support asking had it been sent yet and they replied the money was only taken yesterday therefore delivery should be late next week and I will receive a tracking number!!!

Ive bought a ps4 on wed I recieved a conformation mail that day then on thur another saying order confirmed and payment received Im now waiting for the dispatch details and tracking number, I paid by credit card just in case. I checked them out a companies house and they have been in business as AR trading for the last eight years they have moved location 3 times but thats pretty usual in this type of outfit .the price is not really that cheap you can buy them other places at the same price except the games are not included. Anyway I will post what goes on as it happens.
