  1. Apologies if this is in the wrong place or is a bit rambly in desperate need of some advice. I've been claiming JSA for around 2 years and I have always done what I was asked to do. I applied for a job with a company and was invited for an interview got asked a few questions and given work to start there and then. I was never offered the job and just took it for granted I had got it, 2 days in however I was asked not to return. I was told I would be paid for the time I spent there so I told the JCP about this because I didn't want it to come back and bite me in the behind, I filled the forms in that I was given and sent them back. Last week one of them came back saying I had told them I had a part time job, I was told to put it in writing about what happened and send evidence to show how much I had been paid, at the time I didn't have any but got my bank statement too and it turns out they didn't pay me. Yesterday I had a letter saying that my JSA cannot be paid from 3 July 2013 because of a recent change. Does this mean I've been sanctioned? And how long will it be for? I have tried to ring them but I get a panic attack every time and end up putting the phone down. I'm such a worrier, I've been up all night in a bit of a state. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
