i have done everything wrong with my debt. i have been paying cabot since 2005 and so far paid back £1,200 roughly dont have any paper work as i got credit card from citi around 1999 i think or later. about a month ago i had a phone call from cabot asking if i can pay more and i asked how much do i owe and they said another 1,300 roughly i said what for a £700 debt it went up to over £2,500 default charges they said defaults charges and missed payments im sure cabot did not pay that for my debt or am i wrong here. i have stopped payin them as im not happy still having to pay this amount is there anything i can do i was silly and said take me to court for the rest just need help to know what to do next as i really dont want them to take me to court for the rest of the money thanks for help
