  1. All sorted now. Afgter the manager investigated my shoes was found and there now in the process of refunds/exchange as long as the shoes manufactuer deems them faulty which they should. As the manager sorted the issue out straight away i'm more than happy to use Milletsports again, infact they asked if I wanted a refund and I stated I was happy to keep the money with them so all ends well.
  2. As I hadn't spoke to a manager I called back today and spoke to one who was polite and helpful, he has gone off to investigate and gave me a rough 2 day time frame to which I gave them over a week so that would put it at 4 weeks from postage date. I was also supplied a email so I could send my info directly to manager which I have done. Fingers crossed.
  3. Thanks, ive requested the 2 names of the people I spoke to at milletsports via amail, if I get no reply i'll phone again and ask in person and get this sent off tomoz. Thanks for your help, I can see i'm on a long road of crap for no reason other than there customer service stinks like crazy. Why even offer a free post if this happens. I even said the day the guy said it was free post that's cool cos I don't have to pay for postage
  4. Sadly got this back from milletsports So guys, so do I just special delivery letter to MR DAVID ROBERT WILLIAMS with photo copy of receipt and print outs of the email or emails I receive today ?
  5. Hi Silverfox, Thankyou for your time and effort. I did call back and spoke to somebody else with the info royalmail gave me, while I was speaking to the lady you messaged so I stated Davids name would be my next port of call and after being placed on hold I was told they will look into this for me. What a ball ache some people make things for no other reason than they don't want to give a good customer service. Fingers crossed this gets resolved as i'd hate to flush £125 down the drain. It's sad really as I emailed Hoka aswell asking to send them back to them as i'd heard terrible things about milletsports but they said I had to send them back to buyer and now this. Oh well looks like quitting fags ended on its 1st day, this has really annoyed me.
  6. Hi, Alittle info about purchase. I brought a pair of Hoka trainers that cost £125 4 month ago, as I only used them indoors they was in exelent condition with no wear and tear before a hole appeared. I returned these shoes using milletsports freepost label on 9 jan 2014. I phoned last week and was told they hadn't received them but there was a massive pallet full of returns tobe processed. Phoned again today they say they haven't been received or i'd say they lost them, one of the 2. Now they tell me to go away and call royal mail and claim my £125 but the freepost label doesn't include insurance so I take it this is them ripping me off with terrible customer service ? I have the postage receipt from post office which it says " keep this receipt for proof of posting. What do I do guys as its £125 and I need these shoes due to having Avascular necrosis of the second metatarsal head I would be very greatfull of any help I can get on this if possible or am I doomed to lose £125. Kinds regards Mike Edit Royalmail stated as it was free post milletsports had already paid for the postage so any claims will be dealt with milletsports as they payed for the return postage on there account ?
  7. Last update on this. I have sent the relevent info to trading standards about benq and the model in question so thats that, wash my hands of anything benq. I have now had a full refund in cash from box.co.uk, in the end all it took was alittle pushing and moaning but then i spose that's a normal-ish thing. So i spent alittle while i was at the shop and will be using them again in the future. As i was out of the return time i believe that was the reason for the hassle as it could of been returned straight away for a refund on day one if i'd of realised.
  8. Pj was picked up. However i got a email from Benq this morning. What do people make of that! I'm dealing with the shop now so benq can go jump, i know ill not be buying anything benq again Does anybody know the correct places to complian about this, they see it as a limitaion of the model and not a fault, i think benq may need a swift kick up the bum. The only real problem is that not many people in this world have the w710st so theres no history of it really on the internet in various forums. Recently lg released many 3dtv's with faulty 24p playback, they got told off and and had to pull the info from there sites ect, now people know that some of there sets dont support 24p so they dont buy that set.
  9. Just going to update this. I have just recieved a call from the manager of box.co.uk, he was job done and dealed with the issue ok. It looks like the dude i was emailing has'nt been replying when he should which just angers us customers. So i was dealing with a bum dude at the store, hence the reason i came here to ask for info. I'll happily go back and use the store again now i know they are ok and it was just a memeber of the returns staff that let them down with a lack of communication. They have allso arranged to pickup so thats good news.
  10. Thanks BankFodder, I have sent one last email explaining that they have nothing else instore that i would want and have asked for a refund, i stated i'll leave the email till Wedensday and then i'll call and ask to speak to a manager if possible, then if not sorted i'll start with teh recorded delivery letter and go from there. Maybe i just have a bum dude i have been dealing with, i spoke once via phone and one via email so maybe asking to speak to somebody higher up may have a better effect. I've used the shop a few times, i had no issues going back there and buying a different pj while i sent the other back for repair, i just hope they can treat a customer ok or they will lose me and i'll be sure as hell to broadcast the issue on various forums. If i had to go to small claims court, does that cost me anything? Thanks
  11. Hi, Paid in cash and projector is now around 3 month old from new. I ordeed from box.co.uk a Benq w710st annd a cheap screen. Straight away i noticed that haldf the screen was brighter than the other, seeing as i had purchased the cheapest screen the store had i thought it was the screen at fault. Getting a new screen though showed the issue still was present. So on around day 40 i send the unit back to repairs, they repair it and send it back with exactly the same issue. So i arrange another repair, this time they call me up and statte they cant fix the issue as its a problem with that specific model and its short throw nature. I asked Box for a refund but i believe they are now ignoring my emails, as i have sent quite a few with no reply, i will phone on Monday with info from here if i recieve any. Box asked for the details that i was told on teh phone by Benq repairs, they did'nt actually quote it the same as i was told via phone, i spose they did'nt want to put there foot in it but below is the message i got to send to box as proof of fult from Benq repairs ( Equinox ) I just want somebody to give me a refund ( preferably )or a different model wether thats benq or Box.co.uk, £480 down and i'm not best pleased considering when i sent the benq back i went back to same shop and ordered a acer h5360bd which has no issues so i ended up with 2 pj's and only needed one and sadly one is packaged up not being used due to it's issue, i can't stand watching it as i easily notice a brighter and a darker side. Would anybody be able to help me with solid info so when i call up i have something to say apart from i want a refund. I'd be extremely greatfull.

  13. Went on a 30mile bike ride and came back to a phone ringing, it was knowhow giving me my voucher code , can't believe i was the smelliest person in currys, i really did stink hahahah. Spose the horrer stories i read online scared me into thinking i might have to fight for my right but it all went very smoothly. Got a new tv with some more cover as it's worth it, i could of been on the 21 day rule and without a tv upto 21 days or longer, well worth it and with the accidental cover its not too bad. I only keep my tv's for around 8 month so the pay monthly cover is a nice piece of mind.
  14. Thankyou everybody for your replays. I did call back today and its been sorted, just waiting for it togo through the proccess before i can call back and get a voucher code to go get a new tv, shame i am on a big list though so it will take a few days, hope its fast, no tv for 9 days is killing me. 18. Hi, The faulty lg 55lm760t had a tuner fault, its 5 weeks old from Currys, no loan set was granted. Pickup was arranged for monday, but driver was sick so Monday morning i had pickup canceled and they picked up tuesday. Looking at the Knowhow web/repair page it tells me my parts are not in stock and they are on order, page states monday the tv has to be returned to me. Will i be able to call up tuesday and and request vouchers to go get another tv, its killing me without any tv in the house so i'm just looking for info just incase i dont get a 7 day repair. If i havent my tv back by monday?/tuesday can i phone knowhow and get a voucher code to get a tv on tuesday?/wedensday from instore? Or is 7 days from monday sunday, so i can claim on monday? I just need a tv so bad, my life is tv so without one im extremely sad. Thanks for any info given
