  1. Thanks guys will start the ball rolling with what you have told me, horrible company if i knew then what i know now would never have used them
  2. It was opened in 2006 and no was not applied for online, i am sure i did it over the phone - i am starting to get really worried about all this
  3. I took out a catalouge with above company and got into financial trouble after a relationship breakdown, the debt was passed to NDR anf i have been having nothing but problems, they keep charging me £12 for late payments as i am supposed to pay them every 28 days but can't afford to as i only get paid once a month, they have upped my payments 3 times since i have made the agreements with them, they are unhelpful and i constantly get told different things every time i phone them. I am 100% sure i never signed a credit agreement with Littlewoods or as NDR have now said a consolidated loan i haven't signed anything. I only owe about £300 but they are threatening me with all kinds of stuff like debt collection and bad credit. Please help i don't know what else to do
  4. I have today posted my L.B.A letter to the Halifax, what do i do now if they don't comply after the 14 days??? :? Would really appriciate any help i'm a bit stuck Thanks for everyone's advice and help so far, i can't believe they have taken over £1200 off of me, i'm starting to get nervous and keep thinking somethings going to go wrong, this is the first time i have ever done anything like this and it is scarey asking for the money back even though it's mine. Thanks again for setting up such a great site
  5. Someone help i don't know where to go from now I looked through the other threads and this doesn't appear to have happened to anyone else.
  6. Yes i can, but what is worrying me is does the 40 days still stand from when i originally sent the DPA letter as now it is my fault that it's being delayed!!!! Where do i stand???
  7. I handed my Data Protection Act letter in personally to my halifax branch in Clifton, Bristol with the statatory fee of £10. This was done on the 28th June (the day i got paid!!) i haven't heard a thing from the Halifax no acknowledgement letter or anything. Obviously now nearly 3 weeks on funds are tight and i am £28 overdrawn on my account (Due to halifax charging me yet another £39 for a failed dd) bearing in mind i haven't got an otherdraft facility on my account this is the reason why i got it. Imagine my horror this morning when i received a letter from the Halifax stating the cheque i had wrote them for £10 which is obviously the amount for providing the information i requested had bounced and i was being charged another £39. What do i do now?????? Somebody help please :???:
  8. I had exactly the same problem with Crap one they gave me a card and then banged loads of charges on for going over my credit limit then charged me again cause i couldn't clear the charges, i had £200 on my card i now owe them nearly £1000 and it's all charges how the hell are you supposed to be able to pay it back???????? I think they on purposely target certain people
