  1. An update: well i woke up today and found a letter from ingeus about my next appointment with my usual advisor. She hasn't been fired by the looks of things but it's all been very suspect. Now to write my withdrawal of consent
  2. Hi Nimitz I've often wondered why us decent honest jobseekers are put on these things. can't they be for those who abuse the benefits system or those who need massive help? yeah they don't seem to bother with cover at ingeus in my experience. The two weeks my advisor was on holiday a few months ago (straight after my first appointment) I saw no one at all! This organisation just generally winds me up, it's not smooth running at all. like when I went for some pathetic thing called job search techniques, i got there and it was cancelled! we did job searching and then some bloke came and asked us our travelling expenses and what work we're looking for.what is the point in that?! ridiculous! A waste of everyone's time. I do want to withdraw it. How do I do it? I don't really get any hassle from them at the moment outside of the meetings. I have changed my mobile number and not told them (which I won't be doing). If only I could get a new landline and email and get away with not saying anything lol
  3. Hi, thanks for your help. I'll take up your advice about the manager. I'll phone them tomorrow or Friday if I still have not heard anything and if they fob me off again about my advisor then I will ask for the manager. Clearly something is amiss, cos who has two annual holidays in the space of two or three months. Lol but my advisor didn't find me any good jobs while I have been going so if she has been fired it's no great surprise lol I guess I should be thankful that I haven't been there for over a week instead of worrying
  4. This is really frustrating me. I mixed up my days last week on when my appointment was. I went on a tuesday instead of monday. my advisor was in a meeting so I was unable to see them. All fine, no problem did a jobsearch and crossed my fingers that I wouldn't get sanctioned for this. Looks like I haven't. However! I expected to have been contacted with a new appointment for the following week (this week) which they didn't do. I sent my advisor an email friday morning, no reply. I phoned them up yesterday morning and they said that the advisr is on annual leave (AGAIN!!!!) and will be back the next day. This is now the next day and I have heard nothing!!! This is frustrating and worrying, because I fear that I may get sanctioned when it isn't my fault. Am I worrying for no reason, or can they sanction me?? thanks for any help.
  5. Thanks bakatcha. I printed off the form I can fill in to request this information and shall post it to that address
  6. Just reading about the request for information and I was thinking of doing a request. Is the the DWP address the Belfast one?
  7. Oh aren't they so considerate of other people So my privacy is of no consideration to ingeus unless it breaches someone else's! I thought A4E were bad but at least there we had private booths.(never thought I'd be giving a compliment to those dim-witted people) I think I'll give them an opportunity. If they don't agree to privacy then I'll say I'm recording.
  8. Had my first appointment X amount of days ago, and I was absolutely horrified that we are afforded no privacy when answering those personal questions. Half way through another advisor sat down with someone, inches away from me. Next time I shan't be answering anything unless privacy is given. I also wished i had known that I didn't have sign those forms before I did...oops!
