Hi again, Just got my knock back letter from FSCS as my Firstplus/Freedom Finance ppi was taken out before Jan 2005 they cannot help. Should I pursue the might Freedom Finance? I remember seeing threads about CC act section 56 as FP took the payments every month and added the interest. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Linda

Hello again, I have just been onto FSCS and they have said they cannot help since since the policy was taken out before Jan 2005. They have had my paperwork since August 2012.

Hi, I am new to this please treat me gently!! I had a ppi arranged for a secured loan via freedom finance. It was active for approx 3 years and the secured loan it was attached to was paid off May 2005, As Freedom Finance is no longer in business (it was taken over in the last 12 mths I think) what are my chances with FSCS? Many thanks:confused:
