  1. Hi BB Well I have completed the migration from IB to ESA and am now experiencing difficulties with Wembley ATOS (PO BOX 1044). I've completed a questionnaire that was sent to me June/July time 2012 and have now received another informing me that a qustionnaire was sent on July 12 2012 to be returned by 14 August 2012. I am now wondering if this is where all the fun and games begin because I've checked all my post and they have not sent me another form. If one had been posted to me, why? I've already completed one. I'm a bit annoyed that these people, (ATOS) make it difficult for you to contact them other than by post to a PO BOX. I expect like others may have experienced, my ESA benefit is now at risk of being stopped until I can somehow communicate with them to explain the situation. Is this delay tactics from the Medical Services as I'm also in the process of applying for DLA. In retrospect perhaps I should have recorded my mail being sent to ATOS. I have no medical letters to forward onto them as I enclosed them to support my DLA application. I wonder if you saw the Channel 4 Despatches documentary recently with an undercover doctor supposedly going to work for them just so that he could gather information on the way ATOS operate. Well it was an eye opener for sure and pretty disgusting how those. me included, are subject to an almost impossible point scoring system that you are positively going to fail and be asked to look for work. Thanks for your post BB
  2. No it's not an advert for DMC, it's just that I found out that I didn't have to continue having sleepless nights worrying what I was going to do about a debt. There are plenty of other ways to resolve matters, like your local Citizens Advice although they only do the negotiating on your behalf wheras a DMC will take all your finances in hand. I've discovered that these doorstep collectors or companies have a figure in mind what they want you to pay. They rarely take into account you still have to live. In short they don't really care what your circumstances are, they are purely out to recover monies due. Thanks for your comment though
  3. Hello You will get plenty of regular contact from IQOR either by phone if they have your contact number or a deluge of rather intimidating and threatening letters monthly. They, like many other debt collection agencies make it very difficult for you to communicate with them. If your case ever went to court it looks very good on them as you will have several letters and IQOR would no doubt say you have made no attempt to reply to them. Having sought professional advice in relation to my experience with them, DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR to them, they have no legal right to enter your property. IQOR, if you care to browse other forums regarding them, are a company that buy debts from Banks, Building Societies and High Street Stores. whoever you had a debt with they have got fed up with chasing after you and given it to IQOR who specialise in chasing people until the cows come home. Go to a reliable Debt Management Advisory [use cccs or payplan or national debtline DO NOT USE A COMPANY THAT CHARGES a FEE who will help you in repaying an amount each month which you can afford. [iF YOU DO OWE ANYTHING!!] They will deal with any mail or calls you receive. You will be given a Plan Number and two things happen. Any mail you get from IQOR you post on to your Debt Management Advisory , any phone calls you get you simply quote them the name of who is dealing with your debt, your plan number and hang up. I am using one of the leading DMC's in the country[EDIT] and am totally stress free now and paying an affordable monthly amount to suit my income. I certainley was not going to ring 0845 premium rate calls to them either. Hope this helps....
