  3. When your alone and have no knowledge of what they can do its frightening, I stupidly let them in to do the walking possession and they even put things on it that I told them weren't mine now I'm told that as I signed it they can now break in if I'm out, I'm pregnant and a single parent and have no idea what to do now.
  4. Hi Can anyone help me, i am trying to create a thread on here, i stupidly got myself in to debt a few years ago after suffering from depression (this is not an excuse) i am not trying to sort it out, i got myself in council tax arrears for around £800 however with court costs and fees there now saying its over £1000 they took me to court and got rossendales involved, anyway someon attended my property to do a levy or walking posssession, i panicked at the first letter and let them in, whilst doing the WOP the guy sat in a chair looked around my living room and wrote a couple of things he could see down such as a SKY HD box, an arm chair, a laptop, a side table, when he put the laptop down i said that it was not mine that it was on HP and i obviously had the documents to prove this, his words were then "its ok, we just have to write a few things down thats all, its not important" so after this i stupidly signed this and he left saying i had to send some paperwork of what i earn and pay out etc to the head office, which i did, after a month or so i heard nothing until another bailfiff letter arrived saying if i didnt pay in full they were coming to removed my goods, so i rang the bailiff who was awful and he said hes not interested in my excuses just when im paying, after the phone call i made a complaint to rossendales about the bailiff etc and they first stated they had not recieved my documents, then said yeah we did but it was too late so i had to send it all again offering them a payment of £30 per month, they wrote back and refused this and said i must pay £100 per month, i set up a standing order and a payment of £10 was made in october then another payment of £120 was made in November 2012, the next 2 payments havent been taken from my account i can only assume there wasnt enough money in to cover it, on thursday 21st February a bailiff attended again stating i had paid nothing since october and handed me a letter whish says he will return in 24hours to remove the goods, now ive since spoken to him on the phone and siad i was waiting to speak to the CAB he said to get them to ring him, Firstly there is nothing in my property even worth anything near the debt and i cant get in to see the CAB until 21st March, the bailiff is expecting them to ring him tomorrow, I am a single parent earning just over £600 per month and am 18weeks pregnant, i cant afford £100 per month, and now i dont no what to do im worried sick, ive emailed a complaint to rossendales but by the looks of things im going to come home from work to find my house emptied, i even suggested to the bailiff that an Attachement of earnings would make more sense and he said they cant do that as i work part time and they cant do it for part time wages. I just dont no where i stand legally and am worried sick, can anyone help
  5. I was sent an email yesterday from Bayv customer support to say my complaint would be dealt with as a matter of urgency and i would have a response by the close of business yesterday, still waiting.............
  6. I have had a text this morning from the Regional rep called John this morning, I am not sure if this is the same guy that attended my property but if it is, if Bayv think i will be dealing with him they are sadly mistaken, I also informed him by text that all corresspondence needs to be in writing and that the company have my email address, i have saved the texts. Thank you for your advice to anyone who commented it is greatly appreciated.
  7. I am not sure which branch he will come from possible Bishop Auckland, County Durham area, as that is the area i am in........
  8. Thank you for this, I am currently in the process of putting together a formal complaint, At the moment i am limited as to what i can do from the hospital though, i only have limited internet access, but as soon as i home i will be making phone calls and seeking legal advice, I am putting everything in writing and will be recording any phone calls and also recording any conversations if anyone should attend my property, i am told that as long as i inform them they are being recorded which i will do so i am well within my rights to do this, after his call the other day i was quite shook up i felt intimidated and threatened in my own home and i have always made sure my home is a safe environment for myself and my son, its a place where we both should be able to feel safe not threatened and bullied. Thank you for the reply.
  9. Good Afternoon i have 2 laptops from this company one which my son uses for school work and another which i use for my college work. The first laptop i have had for over a year and have paid quite a bit off it, the second i only got at the end of last year up until recently i have always paid on time however before christmas i had to do extra hours at work (i work full time anyway) and then i was taken into hosptial due to the fact i am pregnant and suffered a blood clot and bleeding (i am a high risk pregnancy) which caused me to miss the meter guy , the day after i was released a bayv regional manager knocked on my door, when i say knocked he banged on all doors and even one of my windows and when i didnt get to the door quick enough started knocking on my neighbours door, on opening the he was talking to my neighbours then came back round to my door, he was quite aggressive and stated he was there to collect the goods i refused and told him i would seek advice from a solicitor, he then said in a cocky voice 'you speak to a solicitor i will go and get the police right now as you have our meter and our goods' then he calmed slightly and asked to come in to discuss, he did so, he told me to pay some off my account immediatly or hand back the goods, i stated that i didnt have any money on me until my partner arrived home, he then said someone would call the next day and left. I was taken back into hospital the early hours of the next day due to another bleed and am currently still in hospital, im worried sick about this, also when i got the second laptop it appears that the money i have already paid for the first hasnt been taken into account and i now appear to be paying all over again only this time for 2 laptops, the guy stated that he did not need a court order and they have the right to just take the goods back and then i will not owe a penny anymore but the contract does not say that, it states that if i have paid less than 50% i may still owe money even after ive returned the goods, also i havent had anything in writing at all to say the goods are being repossessed he says they can just take them back? Is any of this true and also the way he knocked on my door are they allowed to behave in this way? can anyone help me?
