  2. Basically if a debt is settled - that's better than it showing as a default - So the mortgage advisor said - if it shows as settled - that would do the job - because I have settled it and it should say that on the credit file - so if it says settled, I'm fine with that

I had a defaulted account with vodafone - I have paid it off start of this month - now, I have applied for a mortgage and got declined as it hasn't been updated on my credit file..please help - I need it updated - ASAP - as my mortgage advisor has told me to contact vodafone to get it updated asap.. I have rung vodafone and they didn't do anything. . It should show as settled now. .PLEASE HELP.. Please help.. I want it to get updated ASAP..

Hi, I have made a personal injury claim in dec 2010, due to a slip/trip and the solicitors who were dealing with my case are saying that: WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO OBTAIN ANY FURTHER DOCUMENTATION, SUCH AS COMPLAINTS OR SIMILAR ACCIDENTS FROM THE 1ST DEFENDANTS, AND THEY HAVE CONFIRMED THEY HAVE NO FURTHER DOCUMENTATION. AFTER CONSIDERATION WE WILL NOT BE TAKING YOUR CASE FURTHER ON OUR FUNDING. I mean I was going to provide them details of an independent witness. It was a legitimate claim. I had been in bed and on crutches for more than 3-4 months. Had MRI's and consultants dealing with my case. I had serious injuries. I just need advice on what to do because these solicitors have done something wrong, they haven't been answering my calls either. I need advice on what todo, and which solicitor firm to contact regarding this.
  8. I have had a call from them saying that they will be offering me an APR of 17.4% after doing some FURTHER checks! I mean they had an offer on for 6.2% APR, and now this is what they are doing. They have given me a further 48 hours waiting time for the final checks! I have been banking with HSBC for so long, last time I applied for a loan for 2000, It was in my bank account in 5 minuted, I have settled that loan and don't know why this time they are taking so long. I have banked with HSBC all my life and they are the only ones I bank with. Further to this, HSBC have been telling me to transfer my credit card with them for so long, everytime I ring them, after this hassle should I really transfer my credit card with HSBC?

Hi, I have applied for a HSBC loan for 7500 pounds but have been referred online, When I rung up the customer service rep. was also surprised along with his supervisor of why I have been rejected. My case has been forwarded to a team for review. What I don't understand is, that I have never missed a single DD payment ever in my life. I had a HSBC loan for 2,000 which I settled a day before applying so that I have no loan with HSBC, which should have been a good thing as I have settled the loan early. I have an overdraft, a credit card with vanquis. I have a permanent income which is well above the average wage as I'm a higher education lecturer. I've been told by HSBC over the phone that I'll be contacted in one working day i.e. Saturday (as they are open on Saturday). I really don't know what has happened as I have never even missed a single dd for my TV license. HSBC have really put me off because I have been banking with them for such a long time and have such a good history with them. I hope HSBC get back to me with good news, but I don't understand why I was referred online, as I had settled my existing loan a day before, and I had never missed a single payment for that loan. So why have I been referred. Kind Regards

  16. Hi, I just wanted some advice regarding a matter. I took out a Vodafone contract last year. And I have been made redundant recently and have absolutely no income coming in, I have used up all my savings paying bills etc. As payments weren't going out of my bank account, vodafone sent me a letter last month. I rung them up this month, approx. 10 days back, and I was told to get my line up and running I have to make a payment of £74 to get my line up and running and keep making payments as usual acording to the contract. It has not been 20 days yet, and I have received a letter from capquest demanding a payment of £468 pounds in total, I still haven't found a job, and I was going to borrow money from friends and family to pay the £74, but as I've now received this letter today, what do you advice I should do?
