I just didn't realise it's the only thing I received from Tesco nothing I can do then
-
something to do with it being statement of fact and not a cancellation letter or renewal letter but that's All I received in my renewal that stated the no claims proof
-
Took car insurance out with budget last month paid £45 deposit received a reminder letter to send in my no claims discount sent them 1st class what Tesco had sent in the renewal letter. Today I have received a letter from budget to inform me that as the proof of no claims was unacceptable I have had my cover cancelled since Monday night and "having reviewed our records we need to collect £71.86. This has been calculated to include the cost of insurance you have had and the cancellation fee of£75.00 from the payments collected. The money will be deducted on 05/11/15" I'm furious anyone got any advice would be greatly appreciated right now Jamieleigh

Shoosmiths and charging order

No, to be fair battled probably wasn't the right word to use to be fair it was more the fact it took a while to sort they sent me letters saying they had the debt and to discuss a repayment plan I wrote back with my Offer it was too low so I had to fill out a basic income and expenditure form I did this and they then sent the letter agreeing to the repayment plan and how I can pay and when. . Which I have stuck to. -

It was before. The letter states they accept the repayment plan but the client will apply for the charging order for their security -

Shoosmiths and charging order

Yes it's very strange isn't it! I am getting the impression they are trying to use it as a threat to get me to pay higher (more than I can afford) and because I cannot justify doing that they are threatening CCJ and CO because as far as I'm aware as long as there's a repayment plan in place and I'm paying it then there's sweet f a they can really do? Maybe I should just sit tight and wait for these claim Forms to appear... If they appear? -

I've got it in writing though that they accept the repayment on the basis that they will apply for the CO. I have made payments towards it and not missed a payment. -
Shoosmiths and charging order
JamieLeigh87 replied to JamieLeigh87's topic in Financial Legal Issues
Yesterday they mentioned they would apply for a ccj against me and then on to a charge order but having looked online I am under the impression as they have agreed a repayment plan and I've been maintaining the repayments then they can't actually do that? Correct me if I am wrong, please. -

It says the default date is January 14 even though I paid my repayment plan with shoosmiths on the 28th December And yes I'm pretty sure I did receive a default notice from sainsburys -

It was taken out May 2010 and roughly a year later we suffered financially. We paid as and when we could until sainsburys obviously got fed up and passed us on -

The loan was 12k I think it totalled within the region of 14-15 with interest I've paid the interest so far and I'm sure there's late charges etc within that 12k that shoosmiths are after. I think interest has stopped once it got passed to the debt collector. Shoosmiths keep reassuring me that their client does not push for order or sale and that so long as I keep my payments then there is absolutely nothing to worry about I even informed them that in 2016 I would be in a position to up my payments to a considerable amount this meaning the account could be paid off within 10 years as appose to the 33. I'm just not sure though I'm losing sleep over it and not eating just feel constantly anxious and worried -

I presume their clients are arrow. The original loan was sainsburys bank I did wonder when I couldn't make payments why sainsburys wernt getting tough but they just sold it onto debt collectors moorcroft, Blair Oliver & Scott and now shoosmiths. The other companies agreed low repayment without all this hassle but then it kept getting passed on elsewhere -

Thank you for your email. Please be advised based of your offer for repayment of xx per month it will take in excess of 33 years to clear the debt, which is clearly prejudicial to our clients interests. Therefore we have referred the account to our client for instructions to commence an application to secure the debt by way of a Charging Order over your property. This is a sense of security for our client meaning should you sell your property before the arrangement is paid off on an instalment plan, our client will receive the monies owed before you can take any surplus funds out of the sale of the property. -

JamieLeigh87 replied to JamieLeigh87's topic in Financial Legal Issues
No payment protection insurance on the loan. Thank you for all your advice. Yes I do have other creditors and am on manageable repayment plans for these. I have been paying my monthly sum to shoosmiths so there's no missed payments. I'm not too fussed about having the CO on my property as I have no wish to sell and the monthly amount is affordable. I'm just concerned of there actions once the CO is in place. -
