Can anyone tell me bank charges can be taken from benefit payments? I want to try & re-claim my bank charges but i'm unsure if i should make a normal hardship claim or try & get my charges re-funded based on the fact they were taken from my benefit? I have tried to research this subject but keep getting conflicting advice. I live in Scotland if this makes any difference? No other money was going through my account other than benefit payments.
