  1. Are these fast electtronic payments subject to discretion?
  2. The DWP website says that direct payments should be available. Typically of course they say one thing and mean something else. As somone in a rural area, my concern would be, if i came off JSA and started claiming ESA, that I would need a crisis loan because i won't have enough money to cover the time taken to process ESA and that I would also need the money to collect a crisis loan. And that's assuming they allow you one at all.
  3. How long does an ESA claim take to process? If i need to claim a crisis loan, can i do it over the phone (if i can't afford to travel to the jobcentre) and have it paid into a bank account? Thanks.
  4. Because, as has been said, you are not obliged to provide a reason. If you want to sign off, then you can just sign off. Are they going to refuse and keep paying you money?
  5. Hopefully all these mickey mouse outfits will go bust and show those scumbags in government that the unemployed aren't their meal ticket. I would advise anyone facing a sentence to the Work Programme gulag to sign nothing. I'm pretty sure nothing they ask you to sign is compulsiry. Don't pass on personal or private details and if you start work, tell them nothing. As has been said: these people are not your friends, they are the scummy private sector vultures and the taxpayer is footing the bill.
  6. Ingeus are just Working Links, a well known crew of shysters.
