hi there, really interesting to read your post as it nearly exactly the same as my situation, did you get a reply from the Halifax before you sent your LBA, as i have just received acknowledgement and they will get back to me within 4 weeks. Should i just send a LBA. Any advice appreciated

Hi there i am new to this but just read your thread and wondered what reply you got from the halifax after you sent prelim, i have just sent this and got a reply saying they will look into it and get back to me within the next 4 weeks, should i just send the LBA letter or wait the 4weeks and then send it?? what did you do? thanks for any advice

Hi everyone I'm a little nervous as this is my 1st post, but really really need advice!! I have just started to try and reclaim charges from the halifax £2957 in total . I have sent of the request for refund letter as found in the libaray template, along with a spreadsheet showing all my charges. The Halifax have replied to this letter within the 1st 14 days, saying they acknowledge my complaint, they will investigate it but it could take up to 4 weeks for a reply! What do i do now? do i wait 4 weeks for them to potentially turn round and say a big fat no to the refund or do i right another letter? Please please help!!
