Hi I am having problems with the money shop, the branch wont deal with it and gave me an email address that keeps sending back my emails. They gave me a phone number for headoffice that on 3 occassions have kept me on hold for over 50 mins on each occassion and I never got to speak to any one. They are phoning and when I answer an automated message comes on asking me to phone the number, when I do, I get put on hold, and now they are sending me texts saying that they are going to send my debt to the balieffs, Can someone please advise on what I need to do. Oh and I went back to the branch and they said, yeah alot of people having trouble with the email, not sure if it is working at the moment......

Hi my friend wanted to answer this question she has wrote, Please take advantage of taking someone into the meetings with you, The witness can not say any thing, however can witness any conversation that you have. Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy. Even if sometimes it will land you in trouble. You clearly made a mistake, and trust me after this, you will never make it again. Clarify in your head and write all conversations down with dates times etc. Admit that you screwed up and look at ways that you can manage that situation again. Explain that you are so sorry and you will ensure it wont happen again. Always use Possitive language, by that I mean I will, I will ensure, I am confident, not I will try, or I guess, or it should be. Finally procedures and the data protection act, prohibits them from discussing the theft incident with you, however rest assured I am positive that the other lady is as worried as you are, if not worse. (that is if she knows yet) The company I work for, asks (demands) that you sign a confidentiality paper before the meets start so that you can not discuss the meetings outside. No body likes a know it all about procedure, however keep it under your hat incase you need it, just as a matter of interest you said that you were on a written warning, did you get the verbal warnings before that incident?

Hi all, I am new to this, so please bear with me. I have got myself into a lot of trouble with money, I burried my head in the sand and put council tax bills in the draw. Unfortunately due my own stupidity and not dealing with this sooner I have now got an attachment on my earnings and apparently and enforcement officer. I was paying £20 to these guys and then they put it up to £100, Came round to the flat, and told me I had no choice but to pay them £100 amonth as this is what the court has instructed. I told them I could not afford this, but they said tough. Cutting a long story short, I have a friend helping me sort out my finances now and she has written to them saying that I physically can not pay this as I do not have it. I got this reponse. Thank you for your email, the comments have been noted. We are unable to amend your arrangement once your arrangement is signed and agreed to it must be kept to, failure to pay any later than your agreed date may incur further bailiff action Yours sincerely signature removed Ross & Roberts Limited I have resent the information and they have refused to enter into any further communication. What can I do?
