Very true, but given virtually the whole of Greece is going on strike for those two days (that is all the civil service, hospitals, taxis, bus and train drivers, customs etc) it is rather doubtful the air traffic controllers will suddenly step out of line - especially given the history or Greek strikes.
  2. Can someone explain to me how British Airways can continue to sell tickets to fly to Greece on the 19th and 20th of October when the Greek Air Traffic controllers announced a 48 hour strike last Friday (14th October)? This is scandalous and since you know they cannot possibly fulfill these tickets they're going to be left with very unhappy customers.
