These searches aren't visible to any lender performing a credit application enquiry or any other creditor tracing a debtor or collecting overdue debt. This information remains on your credit report for two years from the search date. For more information on the search you should contact the company that carried out this search. Still waiting on Akitiv Kapital and Mackenzie Hall

The searches were all in the last three years, two of them in the last 7 months.

They have not had one penny out of me from the very beginning. Remember giving Barclay's some money but I was young at the time and didn't know what to do. That was probably 10 years ago.

Nothing apart from searches by Akitiv Capital and Mucky Hall are on my Credit Report which I looked at yesterday.

I haven't made any payments in 7 years or acknowledged the debt. lol sorry you did answer my question thank you. So write to Mucky Hall and request that put in writing that the matter is over? Should I write to Akitv Capital even if they have past on the debt to Mucky Hall? Another thing is that I haven't received a letter from Mucky Hall but I know they have made a search on my credit file and I suspect that they have sent one to a former address. Should i put my current address on the letter?Is there a template letter I could use?

I have no other debts to my name apart from my student loan, nothing at all. These clowns have been sending me letters for years.

Can it be removed? Aktiv Capital did a search on my file in 2009, Mucky Hall (for the same debt) did one in Jan'11 and April'11.If the debt is more than 6 years old and I haven't acknowledged it can I get this removed from table 1 on my credit report? Thanks in advance
