So can I send a letter of appeal to try to get my benefits reinstated??? Surly if I claim JSA im admitting that Im fit to work??? I dont understand how the system works and feel so scared. What am I supposed to live on. I have a dependant living at home. Im in receipt of high rate mobility. I do not have a diagnosis as yet im still being looked at by professionals. I basically cannot walk very far maybe a few steps. I hired a wheelchair to go to the assessment as the refused a home visit even though my doctor did a letter requesting this. I self propelled myself into the room and I think this is what they have based their decision on. I have told them I hired the wheelchair purley for this appointment and that I do not own one. How am I supposed to get to work when I cant even get out of my house due to steps without assistance. (( Even the assessor had to help me out of the wheelchair at the assessment and help me use the table in the room to steady myself.

Please could someone advise me I have just received a phone call to say my ATOS assessment has reulted in a nil assessment. My benefit ESA has been stopped as of yesterday. What do I need to do Help please so stressed

Many thanks for your response, I have spoken to the bank and they say they are doing what they can, although it is my error and the receipiant it is their word against mine. My bank say they have written to the person asking for tthem to pay the money back as it was an error. How long is reasonable to wait. Maybe I need to inform the police then. Will they do anything??

Hi there Could someone please give me some advice: I wrongly received 700 quid into my bank account by the company I did some summer work for last year. When i realised what had happened I obtained their bank details so that I could transfer the money back to them. I sent a text to my old boss when I made the trf. The first I knew things had gone wrong was sometime in the week of 9/5/11when my old boss contacted me to say the money had not arrived into his bank. I contacted my bank straight away. Somehow when I did this I transposed the account number. I have contacted my bank who have confirmed this money has gone into someone elses bank. My bank have written to this person but have not heard anything back from them. I am now being hasseled by my old boss. What is a reasonable amount of time for my bank to try and sort this????? I dont know what to do now as my old boss is saying my bank have to disclose where the money has gone and name names so I can take legal action. My bank have said to me that they cannot disclose this information as it contravenes Data Protection. My bank are saying hold fire and they are doing what they can but as it was my error its my fault so not to hold out to much hope. Surley the person who has this money has to give it back???? I sent the money in April so its been like 6 weeks. My old boss is as much as saying to me that I have to pay them back the money whatever. Can someone please help me!!!!
