  1. Hi there - I was told they'd get back to me a couple of weeks before court date - true to form got offer letter 8days before court date! Signed and returned settlement letter and letter to court saying would not continue with claim, as requested (sent recorded delivery and received by them 02/02/07) still waiting for cash!!!!! Did put in letter to court that would not persue claim once amount received in bank account - hope haven't caused problem!
  2. I have a court date set for 8th Feb, and have been told over the phone that a letter offering an out of court settlement will be sent. Haven't had it yet as I am "in a queue"! Also haven't had their Court bundle so they are now in breach of Court !!!! Hopefully next post will be 'cause I got a cheque! Good luck to all.
  3. Hi there Have sent LBA to Woolwich and received an offer for just under 50% of claim. Now need to start court proceedings - any advice???? Thanks
  4. Hi I am in the early stages - ready to send my prelim request for charges. I have paid £310 in charges over last 3 years, but very little interest (about 40 pence)! Is it wise just to stick with reclaiming the charges ?? Also, they didn't send statements, just a list of charges, anyone else had this? I thought they may be trying to save a few trees ( or probably printing costs!)
  5. Hi there I am reading with interest as I have recently sent my DPA letter to the Woolwich and recieved a holding reply from the Woolwich , and a letter from Peter Townsend, returning my £10 cheque. As I am just beginning my journey I will be watching to see how things progress for those of you further down the road. Any tips, or hints will be appreciated. I think I might send a polite reminder to Mr Townsend that my statements are due imminently, as he appears to be a little slow in responding!! Many thanks to all posting here as it is a great incentive to those of us who would probably have let the bank get away with their charges for many more years....
