Hi padja, thanks for the advice and it has been taken into account. I don't think i explained the bottom paragraph of my thread right for you though. I was thinking of ordering something from either bright house/perfect home and having it delivered to my current address, but im moving away in 4 weeks. If i was to move and not tell them, what would happen? (I'm moving into a house with a friend right down south, over 100 mile away) and won't actually be registered there either.

Hi, just read about your problem danny and glad you got a refund! I worked for currys a few years ago and a few facts back then (don't know if they still stand) was the 'what ever happens' cover plan we basically gave you a month free (by giving you a 7.99 discount if thats what it was) on your order. This then got you 2 quid commission! All the extra additions there was no commission, but you had set targets each week and if not hit, you faced a nice hour long talk with your store manager explaining why your minimum wage ass didn't get the job done! I have to say currys was an awful company to work for and your friend wouldnt have looked at his receipt because the sales assistant would of given his receipt to the warehouse staff to go and get his laptop out of the warehouse cage. The receipt then would of gone to a floor manager to 'sign the laptop out of the store' then back to the sales assistant to put in the bag with his laptop. Basically a con to keep the customer away from seeing what he has actually bought.

Hi all *wave* I have been a follower of this site for a long time now because i was planning on using bright house a while ago but after discovering this website and reading the huge amount of problems etc...decided against it. But now a time has come that i really need to use 1 of the stores but I'm puzzled as to; Why perfect home doesn't have a website? I have searched like crazy for it! And, I have noticed with bright house you need 2 references. What would happen if i ordered something like a tv. Then moved address to somewhere far far away? lol
