  1. i'm in similar situation. dg sent letter to me asking for full breakdown. i've sent that to them and my 100 quid fee to the court with the alloc questionnaire. in your reply from dg did they offer your charges+int+mcol(120)+local court fee of 100? my claim has been going on now for near 4mth, did you give them a more uptodate list of your int charges? mine will be an increase of around 200
  2. morning all my quest continues, all letters sent, claim raised and acknowledged, HSBC solicitors now defending and i've just sent to the court my allocation questionnaire, with copies to the bank and their solicitor. the solicitor has asked for a breakdown of what i am claiming so as their client, (the bank) may consider my claim. Funny thing is, the bank have already considered my claim, as shown in the letters i have sent. seems to my as though the solicitor/bank are stalling. confusing thing is the bank offered me a partial settlement because the did'nt want to incurr court/ solicitor fees......so why are they now paying for the service of this solicitor?? my feeling is the bank has had its best mathematicians and solicitors working on the current situation and that the doors are beginning to close on people like you and i. fingers crossed i might just be inside the doors. good luck everyone in your fight. my court costs so far are 220GBP
  3. hi there, i have now received 5 replies from shepherd, all duplicates. i rang the bank, spoke to coventry dsc manager(well, one of them) he assures me, after being on hold for 8 min 32 sec that he will ensure i don't receive anothe rstandard duplicate letter and that the request for manual intervention info is being compiled. (i've received 5 x statements, spanning 6 yrs) they are outside of the 40 day deadline. when i got off the phone i reflected....enough is enough, i immediately sent them a letter informing them that they have a further 7 days to comply, after this, i will issue a claim. stand by your guns. make it a win for the little people!!!!
  4. Hi, after watching Martin on 'trevor Macdonald's, Tonight' i decided to take steps, I listened then acted. I joined this forum, read a lot and wrote my bank a letter. It's one of the most empowering things I've done. I followed the instructions on which lettter to send and when. kept concise track of all correspondence that I sent to HSBC. All recorded delivery. They're dragging their heals with the Data Protection Act info, for which i have today drafted the letter to inform them that I'm about to commence action. For my charges, which are considerable, over 2k, they have offered me around 200 pound short, not including interest. i have declined this under the forums advice and commenced action today. These days my house is in order and it's because of this that I'm now prepared to write my letters. I'm sick and tired of people having my money, claiming its for legitimate reasons and services. I haven't turned into Victor Meldrew, I just want what is mine. Big companies as we hear on tv every day, don't care and don't listen. Well they will listen now. 'COME ON THE LITTLE PEOPLE' !!!!!!!!
