  1. @ FORMISTER: I honestly don't know, might be just charges for setting up/cancellation. I would have to either ask my girlfriend (it's her account) whether she made any calls from that SIM card, or ask O2 themselves to give me a print-out. Thank you so much guys for the response! I will be keeping you updated as to what's going on and if there are more letters.
  2. Guys, I have exactly the same situation with O2 Moorcrap, but NOW. Sorry for cryptoposting, but I really would love to know if it has been resolved and I hope that silks is not getting any more letters or threats... ... cause I'm about to do the same. Go to O2 and just give them the money.
  3. Hey all, Just received the same letter from Moorcroft, it's actually for a less-than-100-pound debt at O2 or as they call it 'TELEFONICA O2 (UK) LIMITED'. IMPORTANT INFORMATION - POSSIBLE LITIGATION To prevent the above possible action send payment in full before 16/02/11 or Telephone 0161 475 2818 immediately. (...) obviously, i'm not going to call anyone. i'm not supposed to pay anything, i had my cellphone monthly deal cancelled after a couple of days of using. the WEIRD thing is: I JUST called O2, talked to an actual customer advisor, and she said: 'once you pay moorcroft the xx.xx pounds, your contract will be finalised and you will not owe anything anymore.' after I said: 'really? i'm reading all over the net that Moorcroft is a [problem]/phishing company and it's best not to make any deals or payments directly to them' she replied: 'no no, your debt (outstanding balance) has been taken over by them, we use moorcroft all the time.' WHAT THA F***? Anyone? Should I still ignore this? Thanks in advance guys.
