I received a letter today from GCB Ltd reguarding Infringement of Copyright ! (so did 13 other people down my road ! accused of downloading the same file) I do not download movies / cds etc or used File sharing programs and never will do Banned from my house, I have 4 different computer systems here which other members of family uses & 13 enterprise class webservers all currenlty online (hosting over 350 different websites - yes I host websites for other people) I phoned GCB Ltd I got a recorded message saying "if you have received a letter from GCB Ltd please disreguard it as we are no longer pursuing the matter mention in the letter" They also included a print off from the BBC news website with the letter reguarding a crack down on illegal file sharing. BIG Mistake by them as they are themselfs are commiting infringement of copyright ! Intellectual Property 4. All copyright, trade marks, design rights, patents and other intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered) in and on bbc.co.uk and all content (including all applications) located on the site shall remain vested in the BBC or its licensors (which includes other users). You may not copy, reproduce, republish, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use bbc.co.uk content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any bbc.co.uk content except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of bbc.co.uk content requires the prior written permission of the BBC. They are using the page printed from BBC news site for commercial gain !! I have already been in contact with the BBC and fowarded all evidence to them, and has been confirmed as Infringement of their copyright !! There have passed the matter on to their legal department. They try to swindel me, then I will hit them harder !!!
