It's just that I handed my 1st letter into my branch as I already had by last 5 years bank statements. Is it unusual for the Abbey not to reply to my 1st letter

My 14 days from the prelimary letter are up today. Just printed the letter before action and ready to send off. Is anyone else at this stage as I need some encouragement as very nervous:cry: :?

Hi I work as a personal Travel Advisor and can advise you that unless your confirmation actually confirms a "Double Bed" there isn't a lot you can do about it. Your confirmation may have said "Request Double" but this is not guaranteed. I've just looked at 5 years statements and the charges are in excess of £3800. Is there a standard 1st letter that I send to the bank, asking for my money back. Can I claim for the interest charged to me when I go over my overdraft limit?

Hi I've spen the last few hours reading through the forum. I also have had huge bank charges from Abbey. Only this morning my statement has arrived and I've got £94.00 this month. Do I have to write to Abbey in the fist instance and ask for a list of all my bank chargedes for the last 6 years?. Do you know the address?
