  1. Because of the injury, you should employ a solicitor. You'll need written witness statements describing the vehicle and if possible a description of the driver. The DVLA will provide the owners details for a fee and a good reason for wanting the data. The solicitor will sort out medical appointments and reports to value the injury claim but the key here is going to be the witnesses and their statements. Leaving the scene of an accident is a crime and you should make a formal complaint to the police with the witness evidence. If the third party refuses to provide their insurance details, this too is an offence under the Road Traffic Act and the police should be taking it more seriously, particularly in light of your injury. I trust you have sought medical help for your back. This all mounts up against the TP. If they still continue to deny involvement, despite the witness evidence then court action will be your only course of action but your witness must be available to attend to give evidence.
  2. We've moved our site to TSOhost and must say that their service has been exemplary. I've had no end of trouble trying to get webmania to help with the domain name transfer but there's been nothing so we've had to register a new url. Thanks for the recommend!
  3. Many thanks SkylineUK, We've had problems with Web Mania for a while. They were usually quite quick to provide support but having read through other forums and a few google searches, we'll be moving the site to a new host. I hear that Heart Internet are good so I'll try and convince the powers that be to splash out a little more cash to go somehere reliable. It's really a shame as I hosted sites with Web Mania for years and I never really had a problem. I did notice that their renewal prices shot up considerably recently and it stopped me from renewing my personal site with them. Thanks for your help.
  4. Our website is down, they've failed to respond to a support request and there is no live chat any more. Spotted on Companies House that their address is now registered as: Name & Registered Office: WEB MANIA LIMITED c/o BEGBIES TRAYNOR (CENTRAL) LLP 11 CLIFTON MOOR BUSINESS VILLAGE JAMES NICOLSON LINK YORK NORTH YORKSHIRE YO30 4XG Company No. 05607555 Looks like they're about to if not already shut down.
  5. I now notice that I'm being charged £20 per month for using the overdraft facility. Not only that I get a £5.00 "Settlement of fees" charge too. So I'm now suddenly being ripped off for £25.00 extra per month, £300.00 per year for using a £300.00 overdraft facility. Think I may have to change banks again.
  6. Wow, thanks. I wish I'd found this forum a few years ago!
  7. Hi, First post so I hope it's ok. I was expecting a £75 charge because I had gone over my overdraft (after they applied a £55 fee for the previous month). I'm unemployed in receipt of £65 jobseekers allowance so clearly this is one that's really going to bite. I rang their customer line which took me 20 minutes to get through to someone, after going around in circles and eventually spoke to someone who said that on this occasion, they would waive the charges but as it's now Santander, they will only do this once in a 12 month period. I know this is going to happen again and I'm dreading the next set of charges. I've just had an IVA fail because I'm unemployed so I'm really unsure of what the next step is going to be. I know the post is a bit of a ramble and I apologise for that. All the best.
