wonder if you can give a bit of advice. my sofa from bright house is almost payed off, in fact it the agreement runs out next week. but im behind with some payments, the settlement is £105, after a visit last week, i agreed to pay the ammount, but found i only had £67.they wouldnt accept that, they wanted the full ammount. i phoned them, and the guy i deal with said phone him today (thursday to make an offer)problem is i cannot get any money to next week at least, ive not had a default notice

everything we got off brighthouse is paid off, exept our sofa. i fell behind with the payments, there were only 9 payments left. i asked what the settlement would be, and was told i couldnt pay the settlement which was £140, until i brought the account up to date, so i payed £78 and asked for the settlement figure again. i was told they would inform me by post,never heard anything. waited a few weeks knock on the door , i found out the settlement was £105, so i agreed to pay it last saturday, saturday came i only had £67 so i offered to pay that they refused. now they want the money this weekend and i dont have it until next week. ive not had a default letter, and to be fair the guy i deal with at the shop is ok. could you advise me were i stand on this matter
