  1. Just to keep you all update, I receive this week on the 12th a letter from CCS dated 6th August giving me a 72 hour notice for home visit. That I suppose should have being on the 9th. Until now, nobody showed up. If they show up I'll send they away, without accepting talk to them. If they insist I will call the police. They say on they letter: "Your account will not be overlooked or forgotten and we intend to resolve this matter to our client satisfaction." The funny thing is that they did not reply to my letter where I asked them why they think I own them any money. Let's wait and see now... xx

  3. Thank you Letshelp. I will. I decided do not bother with it until they called me to court. If it goes there. Then I will worry.
  4. Hello Everyone! Just for an update I am copying here what I wrote as reply to someone else in the same situation... I was just reading all those posts as I also got a parking ticket at the Crawley car park, beside Barmed. I post on Thread with the topic "received parking ticket at fault" as I was very few minutes late. It was back in February and they never contact me. Then last month I receive a letter from Valley Enforcement demanding a payment of £127. That I just ignored. This week I received on the 21st a letter dated back from 16th July from CCS demanding the payment until 10am of the 23rd July. I had then sent a reply letter saying that I have never being contacted before and I would like to know from them why they think I own them any money and denying have to pay them anything. I just want to keep some records in case it goes to court. I really hope it won't. It is great the way everyone share all the information in this site. I will keep you inform if anything else happens relate to it. I would love if they just give up now... but very unlikely... Thank you all for sharing your experiences and knowledge.

  6. I have been reading the posts on this forum and seen that most people have an incorrect charge, my case is different. It was back in February on a private car parking in Crawley. First, I was 5-10 min late, and my ticket was clearly visible and expired. I was no more than 5 minutes to be correct but once I arrived to my car the ticket officer was there and spoke to me about how to appeal, mainwhile he wrote my ticket and add the talking time!! (I was then about 10 min late) I arrived home and sent a e-mail to the company explaining that I was late for a very short time and it was only because I was ill that day and suffering from diarrhoea. I had NO option but to make a stop on my way to the car park what delayed me those few minutes. The ticket guy could clearly see on my face that I was ill but said not being able to removed the ticket after issue. I said that the delay was so short I could not understand such a high charge of £70 (going for £100 after 7 days). My housemate received a charge for parking of only £30 from the council, why they have to charge me that much more. It was nearly the same place in Crawley. I then went to the web and found the moneysupermarket web site that recommended me to ignore. What I did. They only reply to my e-mail said to me to send my full name and address, what I also ignored. Today I received the first letter from Valley Enforcement charging me £130!! As I have previously contact then before, and told my name, even that, not the surname, I believe they could use this against me as a form of admitting an offence. What can I do now?????? May pay would be the only option I would happily pay £30 but £70-£130 is an xorbitant charge!! Please help!! Claudia
