Quick question guys, I'm still paying the monthly amount to Barclays, even though Computeach dont see me as a BPF customer. Have other people cancelled/halted the standing order for Barclays?? I know they say it will bring my credit rating down.

Juiceybuns, Im going to check my Advent contract tomorrow, but you can bet I am going to read the thing through very thoroughly and look for any faults with it. It appears they may have made the mistake on your contract with many others.

Thanks for the response, PM to fuzzbutt already sent! I guessed as much about Barclays, they said I would get a letter from them regarding the Advent situation... which I never received, funny that. I have told the customer service lady that I was a paying customer still, but in her reply, she kindly ignored my question about me being paying. However she was very kind, reiterating that my Advent contact did state I had an end date and need proof etc etc

hi there, yet another Advent customer in trouble! Glad to see everyone banding together to fight whatever ridiculous statements Barclays, Advent and Computeach are publishing. There is a lot of information on the forum, which is great, but could anyone give a brief description on where we stand at the moment? I recently received an email from Computeach (once I had contacted them) which basically said my contract had lapsed with them in Jan 09 and that I was not a BFP customer. However I continue to pay the BFP loan off?!?! If Computeach are showing me as a non-BFP customer, does anyone think I have the right to go into Barclays and tell them I will no longer pay this fee??
