Was the fitter authorised to view recordings? If not I think very much 'you' could get him into trouble. From what I know of the ICO directive on CCTV monitoring in the workplace there must be clearly demarcated responsibility for reviewing footage. GG

Sorry for being late to the party... Like jimmybrayks I've got a Y-cam for outdoor use and a couple of pan/tilt cams from eyespy247 for indoor use. Rather than recording locally - as a burglar can easily walk away with or trash the camera and recordings - I got my cams hooked up to eyespy's web platform and they send me email and sms alerts if/when something happens. Might be an another add on option as there system also works (I think) with a number of other IP cameras like Axis and Panasonic (both of which I would avoid, imho). Hope this helps. GG
