Anyone know how long it would take to get me into court? I am very tempted to just write back saying "OK, see you in court' but have a holiday booked and really dont want to sacrifice the hard work in overtime and money saved and paid to have to go to court. Could I (if said court date was within my holiday period) supply the evidence I am going away and have it postponed?

Im not sure if they could win by not responding to a letter that could have been lost, I think it would be if I failed to show up in court then they could. Im not too sure though:idea:

Personally, I wouldnt even open up yourself into a game of 'letter ping pong' if you havent done it, just ignore it, and they wont respond. The only ones that are getting more letters are the ones that are 'denying' it.

Mrkerr, I ignored my first letter which I received a few months back and havent heard anything yet. Some people who replied have been contacted again, with the price going up. Im not stating its is better to ignore, as some see it as risky, but its the route Ive chosen.

Just wondering how many people from the last batch (the £495 'porn' ones) that were received about April, have heard anything else? Looks like the guy above has just heard again, I never sent a LOD and havent heard anything else. Whats others experiences?

Going to take a cro-bar across the knees and lower spine to make me even think about buckling:D Ive done nothing wrong so litigation, formal procedures, court orders or whatever they threaten me with means nothing to me:)

I know the court order which was with mine was legit because I spent a couple of hours ringing the 'Chancery division at the high court' and eventually got through to the guy who is looking after it, not the judge that signed it, but was assured it was legit and he pulled it up and read it back to me. Mine also had crossing outs and about 7 stamps all over and looked 'fake' thats why I decided to check, if they were using 'fake' court orders they would be in 'HUGE' trouble. Ring and check yourself, and if it is fake, then its good night Vienna for ACS:-) Like I mentioned before, getting diddly squat from me:lol:

I got a letter a couple of months ago for something apparently dowloaded/uploaded in November. I was very unsure about the look of the court order and thought it was some sort of [problem], so rang the High Court Chancery division, and spoke to the guy that issued it, and he told me it was legit. I just ignored the first letter, I might reply to the second (if it comes) with a LOD as I was in Germany for the David Haye v Valuev fight at the time of the 'alledged' offence, so they can whistle for it as far as Im concerned:)
