  1. No. You will get an auto response via email but they will reply by letter. and the letter writing ping pong continues..... lol btw have you complained to the SRA, your MP, which, watchdog, etc?
  2. Could be their way of dismissing your reply. Can't you check with post office to see if they received a signature for your letter and take it from there? ps. email acs with your LOD
  3. They aren't really concerned if you're innocent or guilty, that's not their primary aim. Don't think they are doing this out of concern for copyright holders. They are doing this to earn £££s and lots of it! So if you pay then all you're doing is funding their next round of letters etc. The SRA need to get tough with Mr Crossleys scheme and quick!
  4. I agree but I don't expect to see Acs turning water into wine anytime soon... then again they are turning paper into pounds so I guess ACS are divine beings
  5. All I stated was your post just confused the average user. I see your a man with experience so it would be more beneficial to explain your posts to us mere mortals to avoid any confusion. k thanks
  6. Well I don't see how your very verbose description of a data controller will even come close to helping the average joe? In fact I can see it has just caused even more confusion..... I'll leave that with you btw I applaud you on your masters from ACS, did andy help you with any spellings?
  7. Just a quick msg to pl1p..... are u Terence in disguise? My spidey senses tingle when you speak. You display way too much knowledge in such a short period of time.... but then again sfw, do what you gotta do it's all good
  8. You're spot on there Scooby. There's no way a decent law firm will allow it's name to be sullied by one area of it's field. Like you say it may take years, if at all, to recover. DL will forever be remembered for what they did. Difference with acs law is it's a tiny fish in a huge pond so doesn't care about reputation only generating as much revenue as possible.I bet Mr Crossley thinks he hit the jackpot. Pity really.
  9. He's leaving quite a messy trail behind him! I wish the SRA would jump all over these cowboys but alas I think they are dragging their heels. To think of all those innocent people they have upset, frightened, etc with their malicious campaign is downright evil. The word 'karma' springs to mind.........
  10. Advice needed pls. Got 1st letter, replied with LOD, got 2nd letter today, refers to my previous correspondence re infringment of copyright. They note my reply matches a template response on internet, with this in mind they are disinclined to accept at face value what i have said, as it is simply a generic response. Their original offer of compromise is now withdrawn and have instructions from their client to pursue this matter against me further! the cost has now doubled too. pls help.....
