  1. I managed to arrange a monthly payment plan with Gothia. I got a contact email of [email protected] and was told to put my reference in the subject line. This is just my experience (I just wanted to get a payment plan in place), I'm sure others can give you advice regarding charges etc.
  2. I went onto their webpage and put in a Contact Us request asking for them to contact me to set up a payment plan. It was all automated, but my confirmation email has [email protected] as a contact. Give them your reference number in the subect line (mine was 6 digits). Let me know how you get on!
  3. I'd emailed Gothia on Monday after they had sent me notification of the debt being passed from Wonga. They replied today with an automated email giving an option of monthly payments. Agreed a payment plan with them and didn't have to speak to anyone. Thankfully I have that monkey off my back.
  4. Got an email today, they were offering a settlement figure, can't afford the settlement figure, so I have emailed them to ask for a payment plan. Hopefully they will be happy to accept :/
  5. Thanks Nortel. I'll keep you updated if I hear from them!
  6. Hi Nortel I was on the other thread about Wonga passing to Gothia. Can I ask how you found out what had been transferred? Did Wonga or Gothia email / letter you? Thanks Peanut x ps - I take it Wonga had contacted you and not Gothia yet?
  7. I'm the same too! Had a mad panic they had gotten into my account somehow. Text, then email. Don't know who the debt has been sold to. I hope they don't appear at my door :/ Peanut x
  8. Thanks very much for this guys! You are awesome! I will email them again with my payment offer. Sillygirl - would the Solicitors Regulation Authority still be able to help if I am based in Scotland? Peanut x
  9. Hi Guys Does anyone know what the next step is when Barker and Lowe refuse your payment offer? Does this go to another Debt Collector? Any help would be appreciated! Peanut x
  10. Quick update. PDUK have passed my file to Keyes Whitlock. All they are chasing is the loan amount. Arrange a monthly payment in one phone call. Nothing from Wonga or PTP as yet. Peanut x
  11. Hi Dizzle Thanks for this! I will subscribe to your thread. Peanut x
  12. Thanks Sillygirl1 I have changed bank accounts I have emailed all three companies with offers of monthly payments and have received responses asking me to call. After reading other posts on the forum, I am quite scared of calling them. There was a voicemail left on my home phone (which can be accessed by my flatmates) detailing that I had an "outstanding account", can they do this? I suppose what I'm worried about is that they send their debt collectors to my house. Has anyone had experience of this? Or do they normally letter first? Sorry for all the questions. Peanut x
  13. Hi Everyone! I am new to the site and was hoping for some advice. I have outstanding payday loans with PTPD, PDUK and Wonga. These were due for payment on 27th April. Owing to my personal circumstances changing (massive drop in hours at work), I am unable to pay these back in full. Has anyone had experience of negotiating monthly payments with these companies? Thanks in advance for your help! Peanut x
