Hello all again, I have just received a 3rd letter. Whats worrying about this one is that I had only sent off my LOD to the 2nd letter last week. Its totally freaking me out as I was thinking that it would be at least a month before I'd hear back from them again....if ever. I'm one of the MediaCAT bunch from February and received a 2nd letter at the begining of June. I did not do what I'm being accused of (well my IP is being accused of) neither did I allow anyone to do so. Am now seriously thinking about getting intouch with Michael Coyle at Lawdit, as has been stated on this forum. Has anyone been in contact with him before? Did it help? It seems that this 3rd letter will be the last "good natured" one before a court summons. Got an FAQ letter attached in with the "invoice", not that it makes any difference to the fact that I never did it. Fee has not changed, and have 14 days to respond. Feeling some real pressure here......

I had received one of the 495 porn ones, back in April. Had responded with an LOD and have received a 2nd letter about a week ago. They not asking for any extra money. It looks like the letter is explaining what they ment with the first one, responsible for the IP and connection blah blah blah... Gave 28 days to respond.....which I shall, with another LOD. It does play on the nerves some what though. Its pretty shocking that the first letter anyone receives is that demanding money so that they dont take you to court. My, what a fair deal!

Hi All I'm new to all this malarky, but I have also received a letter for our friends at ACS:Law demanding £495, again with MediaCAT. When first reading the letter it is amazing how much horror it fills you with, been unable to sleep or eat properly for ages. Though thankfully after finding this forum I feel much calmer about it. The problem I found in perticular was thinking back to whether your did or didnt do it. I cant remember what I was doing last week let alone last year. But the file in question does not ring any bells nor was it found in my computer or its history. I shall, of course, be denying the accusation and they wont get a bean out of me unless they take it to a court and they tell me to. I feel much safer knowing that there are hundreds if not thousands of people in the same situation. I shall keep you all updated with the progress. Thank you for all your help.
