shauneeboy depends how you paid dude! debit card like me n sounds like your screwed, credit card and the FOS should be able to reclaim for you, cheque etc not sure!

Mustard2243 since i paid with debit card (2008) looks like im screwed but i refuse to admit defeat, now seriously considering paying off my debt with a barclys credit card and then refusing to pay and sayin take me to court and bringing all this up! worst comes to worst i offer to pay back a pound a week!!

Got a letter from FOS yesterday stating as i settled 1 year interest free loan with BPF by debit card section 75 does not apply so they dont think they can follow up my complaint so somethin to think about for people who have yet to settle section 75 only applies to credit cards!! Also the whole study in your own time makes sense as if you think u hav all the time in the world your likely to put studying on the back burner now and again and eventually lose interest especially when the mock exams are such a ball ache! makes it quite obvious to me that this was a well thought through [problem] all along!!

Anyone managed to ascertain what actually counts as barclays final response?? jus got all my stuff sent back from fos sayin gotta wait 8 weeks as none of my latters count as final response although they seem pretty final 'you got computeach blah dee blah' stalling tactics!! cant be overly confident

i was with them 2 n a half and only got thru comptia exams due to all the resits for crappy mocks which were def a stumbling block to slow us down as i passed both actual exams first time, at that rate it wud have taken me 20 years to finish an mcse its a racket

yeah its a [problem] they probly been gettin away with for years with all the loop holes, i reckon those who fight to the end will get some justice tho they are bankin on people givin up, and yep im 100% certain i was told there was no specific time limit but shud take 2-3 years

Matt28LFC - AM IN A SIMILAR BOAT MATE TOOK THE 1 YR INTEREST FREE N THEN SETTLED WITH A 3rd party loan paid with debit card but got a complaint logged with FOS and had two letters back none saying they couldnt get a refund so fingers x'ed, also filled in forms on Hausfeld site via fuzzbutt so wait and see now iguess!

Dude dont even consider computeach even if you start studyin again you will be back here next year in same boat no doubt!! Hold out for a refund

Hey guys Considering getting a credit card with barclays, paying off my loan with it and then basically refusing to pay back the card with obvious reasons and letting them take me to court or whatever lol, anyone know the implications of this? only a civil offence right?

Signed with Advent in2007 on MCSE (£4,750) with loan from BPF which I then paid off with a loan from tesco. Have sent complaint letter to BPF and had a reply stating new provider will be in place by April. Not interested in continuing to study with Computeach. Will be now contacting the financial ombudsman as per these threads to take on a step. I would like to join with CAG team and will be happy to donate!!
