Hello guys, As I was so disappointed and scared from the last letter that I have received from Moorcroft Debt Recovery Limited, I called Barclays to set up a new direct debit and started paying them from October again. On that time, they have also advised me to contact CT to sing up and carry on with my course. However, I didn’t contact CT yet and just paying Barclays for no services. I was student with Advent for 4 months! Since that time, I joined the group if action against BPF. I called many places, many people but nothing has changed! Now I’m here again to get an update? Can anyone advise please? I was thinking to call them and put my account on hold but before this I wanted to see what you guys were doing in the past 3 months? Any luck? Many thanks.

Hi Fuzzbutt, Thanks for the reply on my email - I read the website again and I think I have a good case too. Firstly, I'm a foreign student and I believe advent lied to me from the first day. They said if I sing up with them I’m going to be attended in classes on a regular basis not just a workshop for each book. Secondly, I think that I have the write to choose my training centre myself not forcing me to sing up with CT. I just phoned BPF again and I told them that I have received two letter form Mercers even though my account is in a dispute and they said when you refuse to pay you will automatically transfer to them to deal with you! I told them that need more time and they agreed to hold this my account or any action for 30 days so I can find a solicitor etc. As my second language is English I think I cannot deal with them myself especially when it comes to writing and reply to their respond regarding my complaint, (right now I have two letter form Mercers and BPF and I have no idea what should I reply to them. I need some help), therefore I think I need a solicitor to act on my behalf. Please let me know you what is opinion regarding my situation

Dear Bluedo, Thanks for your help and all the information you have provided here. On 26th of April I asked to get some advice "Post #2877" and you replied. However, I have full time job and have been very busy, therefore I could not follow up and write the letter to BPF asking them to put my account in Dispute and it is left behind. I also have received two emails form PKF during this period giving some information and a letter from BPF advising me that the hold has been removed from my account and payments will now become due in line and so on… Finally, I have two days off and going to finish this as soon as possible but before I send any letters to BPF I need some advice please. Do I need to write a letter to BFT asking them to put my account in Dispute and then send an email to [email protected] asking them to add me to the mailing list of a class action lawsuit against BPF? I have also found two different addresses here and not quite sure which one is correct to send my latter to, Barclaycard Customer Relations The Avenue Business Park, Pentwyn, Cardiff, CF23 8FF Also this FIRSTPLUS FINANCIAL GROUP THE AVENUE BUSINESS PARK, PENTWYN, CARDIFF, CF23 8FF Are there any solicitors, organisations to get help from regarding this issue as I’m really busy and looking for someone to take the case and follow up? Could you please update me with the latest news or information? Sorry for the long message any thank you so much.

Hi guys, I'm new here and need some help please. I started to do MCSE+CCNA on October last year and I only have had received an A+ book as well as a workshop from Advent so far. I got my account with Barclays and was paying by DD for a few months and then got my account on hold. This morning I received a latter from Barclays which explains that I have been in contact with the allocated provider which I have never been !!!! I had no idea what they were talking about !! They also said that the hold has been removed and payments now become due in line with terms. Anyway could anyone help me please here? What should I do? I don't want to go through this course any more. Has any one taken any legal action or could anyone show me the right direction? Do you know any solicitors or anyone else to help me with this issue as I don’t know what to do at all L

Good morning everyone! This is my first post in this website. Personally I've visited my local MP, citizen advice bureau and Law centre to see if there is anything that I can do to cancel my agreement with BARCLAYS but apparently this is a complicated situation which needs time to be solved! What I have done with BARCLAYS just like you guys was to phoned them asking to hold my account. This morning I have received a new letter from BARCLAYS which says they are in discussions with an alternative supplier and they will set us up with a new training centre. I also have had a discussion with BARCLAYS saying that I am not happy to deal with a new provider. However, I have been told that there is not going to be any options. have you guys received the same letter yet ? What should we do ? any advise will be appreciated.. Thanks
