I know that this is a bit of a long shot as i have came to quite a stand still, ive decided to start claiming back all ppi that has been wrongly sold to me , i recently found my old credit agreement from when i purchased a car from YES back in oct 2004 and realise there was ppi , mechanical break down and gap insurance . ive tried googling and as far as im aware daf have ceased trading, i would really appreciate it if someone could give me some help as what to do and how to maybe get my money back . i have read many posts on here but havent seen any recent ones or sucess stories just hoping someone can help and maybe also tell me what i may be entitled to if im able to find out where they are cash price of car £6000 (financed) total charges £2198 admin fee £300 balance £8498 19.9% over 48 months ppi £650 paid £600 upfront gap £350 paid £300 upfront ADDED INTEREST £41.60 TOTAL AMOUNT PAYABLE £1041.60 19.8% APR 48 MONTHS AT £2.95

Hi i have lost mobile phone lastnight when i was out with friends , i dont know if i have lost it myself or it has been taken from my bag . i have been intouch with my network provider that i have lost phone and they have put a block on it , but im wondering what i will say to brighthouse tomorrow morning when i ring them, as i do not have there dlc cover but i have my home insurance , does anyone know whether this is covered and also whether i have to report the loss to my insurance company or whether brighthouse contact them

On the 10/04/2010 i reciieved my corner suite and chair from harveys , when the delivery driver noticed the zip on the cushion that fixed to the back of the chair was acctually back to front, he then told me that he would tell the supplier and they would be intouch. Right enough a few hours later the harveys contact centre rang and told me there would be someone come out from home serve the following week and inspect the proble. Any way the guy turned up as planned and told me that it would be repaired, i told him i didnt want it repaired i wanted it to be replaced, he left and told me he would give his report to harveys and they would be back intouch. Today i rang harveys and asked them what they intended doing and the first lady i spoke to said it was to be repaired , i told her i didnt want that but she kept on telling me thats what would happen , i told her she would need to speak to my husband and when i handed my husband the phone she hung up. My husband decided to call them back and after waiting 20 mins in a queue he finally got speaking to someone that told him the furniture should have been inspected before it was brought into the house and that because homeserve had been out they were not willing to replace. We did not pay for faulty goods all we would like is a replacement of our furniture , but the guy got snotty and told my husband that will not happen, my husband said he would then go to the shop where we bought it from and would demand personally that we either have a replacement or they can give us a full refund and take the chair away , the guy then replied that he would be intouch with the shop and warn them of my husbands planned visit and again hung up. Does anyone know what my rights are with this matter, i thought items had to be fit for the perpose they were sold and i shouldnt have to have a repair made on a piece of furniture , surely i am entitled to a brand new item that isnt defected in anyway. Any advice would be great thanks
  7. Hi my contract only states that i work 23 hrs week 5 days outta 7 it also states that i am contracted to work sundays at all
  8. oh and also everyone else seems to have there hours set and what days they work and if they fancy a change of shift its me that gets lumbered with this
  9. I need advice please, i am a supervisor and work 23 hrs a week to which i am contracted to . I never find out until a friday what days i am going to be working the following week. Today my boss asked me if i have anything planned for next week , i told him apointment on wednesday at 11, he then went off on one and said that i shouldnt be making any arrangements or appointments with out consulting him first as he may need me in work that day. I can never plan ahead even to take my kids places because i never know when i am going to be at work the following week. only day he does keep set is a sunday when i know i am def gonna be in coz he cant be bothered to come into work that day , what rights do i have regarding hours and days at work . should they be set and do i really need to ask his permission before i make plans for my life outside of work.
  10. no they havent had the chance yet to charge me, they just say they want proof from my employer that i am on the sick , and also because i am paying reduced payments at the minute they aint to happy. I dont want my boss knowing my business so im not going to ask my boss for proof of sickness. is this something that i need to produce to them can they legally ask for this????????//

  12. hi ive recently been on the sick from work for one month, yesterday i rang my loan collector to tell him i would not be able to pay my monthly payment of 200 hundred pounds because i have been unwell and could not afford the payment, as i have very little income this month and he told me i need to get proof from my employer or my doctor that i was actually off work for the time i was saying, now incedentlly i was not working when i took out the loan from this company and nor did they ask for proof of income when they first handed me the 1500 pound loan over, i have had my payment reduced already it should be 80 pound a week but i coulnt afford this payment, do i have to by law supply them with this information, my employer will not verify for me nor do i want him knowing my buisness can someone help

  15. unfortunetly last night i got a ticket for parking in a disabled bay at asda washington, while the car park for disabled holds probably around 30 spaces there were only 5 cars parked in the entire car park, i was only nipping in so the little dude in uniform must have been hiding round the corner. I find it hard to believe that they can issue a fine of £100.00 but can half it if i pay within 14 days. not only did he get the colour of my car wrong but he also got the model wrong. H ave i got a leg to stand on or do i have to give in and pay these creeps. Has anyone else had the same experience with these thieving sods . I would never dream about parking in a disabled space but considering there were plenty left and the other car park is quite a hike i think its really unfair
