  1. hi all, just to say i finally posted my BPF complaint letter on tues morning (i'd spent hours on it - so it's very lenghty and thorough - i'd post it on here but it's ground basically been covered by lots of you now) to the customer relations manager: REFUSING to accept CT as alternative provider and REFUSING to re-commence monthly DD, and reasons why ie - poor reputation; current students taking legal action; not the agreement with advent; restricted time to complete course; exams can't be taken locally; investigated by FO and trading standards; no student support for 8 weeks after advent collapse then further 2 weeks for CT (i just dispose of and ignore CT email/letter) re-sits not paid for; finance company on verge of collapse; course and structure delivery different, far inferior company/ facebook student complaints gallore; no careers service/ local job recruitment; CCA sect 75/ enterprise act etc etc, just to say a HUGE THANKS to all that continue to post and offer sound advice, any further action i can take or support CAG team and members i will, fight on people!! get them complaint letters to BPF in their thousands demaning no further payments and refusing to accept thier pathetic attempts to fob us all off on CT!! good luck to us all;-)

Hi all, am i correct in thinking BPF can't start up monthly direct debits from my account again (i bank with barclays) without my permission via me getting in touch with them etc (which i haven't, and wont, nor will i be contacting CT or responding to their email either) i cancelled the DD two months ago via BPF once i got the email from advent to announce they were no longer. can someone tell me? i folllow all your entries everyday now, it's all such a worry-and so confusing:(
  3. hi, yes, i need as much good advice as i can to fight this, am drafting my complaint letters to BPF about why i refuse computeach, need all help i can get, solicitor or otherwise, please advise. (in response to a4ron's entry about joining eleven people who are in touch with same solicitor) thanks so much to all the sound advice and support contained in these entries, i'm making notes on so much here to assist on my letter of refusal to accept computeach via BPF, in particular, page 104 panliberski, page 102 rascal007, page 99 fuzzbutt, all these most recent entries are invaluable help, if martin3030 CAG is also helping by drafting a template of complaint letter and refusal to accept BPF 'offer' that's great, i agree not to pay any attention or to log on etc to computeach's emails, as long as we all refuse to accept and demand refund from BPF and put forward a solid case we can win our fight!!! thank you all.
  4. hi everyone, i've written a strong letter of complaint to the delightful (sarcasm) Wilma Thomson, customer relations manager for BPF who has been sending the letters re: now being students of computeach/ continue my payments/ failed to make last two payments/ 'equivalent or better course' etc etc. i've stated how disgusted i, and thousands of other students are, that i refuse to be passed on to computeach, how computeach have a lawsuit against them from current students for poor service/ support etc, that we are seeeking legal advice/ government partition/ TS/ BBC's watchdog-anything really to demand our money back and the cancellation of further payments. i know it may seem futile but we have to try and fight this, good luck to you all, fight on people!!!

Hi all, this is the first time i have posted, just to say i am also caught up in this whole advent/barclays pf fiasco and curse the day i signed that stupid advent enrolement form, i lost £700 to direct debits and only got as far as the first two text books for the mcsa course, i at least managed to cancel the direct debits for any future payments to bpf last month after reading what the rest of you had done etc, at least having this forum makes me feel a little less isolated in this situation, i wll NOT be accepting any alternative it provider that barclays can find to palm us all off on, i have no interest or confidence in this process now, i earn a low wage and this is the worst mistake i have made in recent years, barclays need to do the decent thing and refund/ cancel payments for all people who have been effected by this pathetic and financially worrying situation, has everyone here signed the government partition at no10 website? best of luck to you all, and thanks for all the good advice, i'll keep checking this forum, this whole situation defies belief!!
