Hi Fuzzbutt, My contract has been extended by another year in December 2009 free of charge but unfortunately I don't have anything in writing but this can be easily proven by looking in the Advent Students database. I can come personally and speak to Hausfeld representative. Please let me know. My opinion is to get together again and make a protest at a convenient time for everyone again and again untill this ba*****s will give our money back

Hi everyone, I haven't posted a reply for quite a while but all I want to say is that my contract was extended in December 2009 by 1 year. I started the course in April 2009 but I couldn't take any exams cos I got married in Sept last year and I had been really busy with it. So I phoned Advent and they were really happy to extend it by 1 more year for FREE. This can be VERIFIED very easily!!! Unfortunately I haven't kept any written evidence. I hope this will help Fuzzbutt.

Cjclegg is right!! You can't trust anyone these days... I trusted Barclays and Advent and look what happened?? I got the same response from ukfreelegaladvice and I don't know what to do , to pay or not to pay , Do they offer any sort of guarantee that we will get our money back if they send that letter? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello everyone, I am a foreigner but I am in the same boat like everyone else here. I have red all your comments and I am simply terrified .... My opinion is to GET TOGETHER, make a LIST/PETITION with all the names and signature, contact the best Law Firm in the UK to represent us and SUE both, BARCLAYS and ADVENT just like is says in the contract. I am pretty sure we are gonna win!!!! THE MORE WE ARE THE GREATER CHANCES TO WIN!!!!!! What we need at the moment is a LEADER, someone born here in the UK who lives in LONDON to make the list and to arrange a meeting with the LAW COMPANY and discuss the issue. (I would have done it myself if I had been in my home country).
