At the end of the day, as i've said worst case scenario i have to pay it back through the courts etc, but at least i pay what i can afford not what they seem to think i can afford.. Only thing i'm worried about is if they upset my wife as her mental health isn't too good, anything else they can attack me as much as they like.... I did look at the cccs to enter into a dmp which i don't mind doing but they insisted on doing a joint dmp ( but that will affect my wife's credit rating won't it?) i certainly don't want her to suffer from my problem?

Thanks babybear, i know you've been helping on the other thread so you sort of know whats gone on? no word on me accepting their termination ( final demand.) except a polite phone call to put me on payment plan ( not yet...) they still seem to be charging me interest and charges etc? if it gooes pear shape will i have to pay the lot? cos if it takes a year etc there's going to be an awful lot on top etc?

i will do buddy, the first sign of them phoning my home number, i'll fire that letter off for harassment. then go and buy that truecall have had 5 calls already today... bless em do wonder what they want tho!!

not sure if they've had our home number they've never rung us here and specified that they never ring it etc it's ex directory but suppose that won't stop em...

Have been on to internet banking and removed all my phone numbers from there broooce they'll just have to post it to me now. as all the numbers they ring me on i save and put em straight to answer phone is that okay buddy? And they still seem to be adding interest and charges to the card will i have to pay all that as well lol?

Am opening my own little thread for you wonderful people to help me!!! Have had an invalid dn then a final payment letter etc and have accepted their termination of the account... Sort of quiet from them apart from phone calls which i now ignore or send to answer phone, no messages lol will put up more later so you can give me advice on what to do next? Thanks in advance....

Well i missed one payment back in december and have been paying em 50 quid a month till now and still got the same cr@p as you!!!!! and 0nly 886.61 has been added in interest etc so if i can get em for the rest of the 8k ( that'll be a bonus.) if not through the courts and 50 quid a month for 10yrs.... either way, and maybe same with mbna must upload their dn for you to see? but they've not sent me anything else at all yet?

Well apart from that phone call broooce not heard a peep out of them, will most probably change when i don't pay em tomorrow then it'll most probably be midden and windmill time!!!!

Amazing how somebody has actually been nice to me from the worlds bank!!! wanted my home number as usual said no chance because of wife's health not having you phone up and upset her!!! As i've mentioned the joint account with the overdraft was the only thing that linked her to me now thats paid off (cheers mum..) we can close that account swop all dd to my new account and they can come after me she'll be safe as there are no debts in her name (apart from mortgage, shared ownership so they're stuffed there for going after the house....) As long as her credit rating doesn't suffer i don't care.... Thats how much they've changed me in 4 months

Oh not going to pay brooce! just saying that until that account is closed and mines shifted which should be before the end of the month, coincidence that today i have about 6 calls after sending that letter yesterday, just worried about that right to set off thing or can't they do that yet? as i said to the guy i expressly forbid you to take any money from that account etc

just had a phone call from an adam davie at hsbc collections saying about reduced payments? went through some details with him including does my account end in 321etc told him will make a payment on the 30th (am in process of changing accounts.) specified to him not to take any money out as i will send electronic payment ( he said our calls are recorded and we will not take any money out!) what's my next step cos i don't trust these a holes 1 bit?

They've issued a default notice which i will put up for you, they've been sort of happy to accept 50 pounds a month for the time being severe hardship etc... sent letter of acknowledging their termination (final demand..)to helen packwood yesterday..

Not sure if it's a dca yet just googled the number and people have said it's the precursor to their legal department dg legal whatever.. will be sending off the cca request and sar, monday is the very earliest i can do it but at least the repudiation letter was sent yesterday to helen packwood.. so it's best not to speak to these people now as i can record my calls is that right? And just ask for everything in writing.. they only have my mobile number and our home one is unlisted are the going to try that route cos i will go mad if it upsets the wife...
